I swear, there appears to be more 10 years olds with unsupervised access to computers than ever before.

Of course I can read....can you? What I am saying is WHY are you requiring that a person be taken at their word and then deny everything that they have done since making the statement?
Let me repharase it to make it a little more simple. If you want "proof" that she wasn't telling the truth, take a look at her actions over the course of a few weeks after her announcement. It should be abundantly clear to anyone (who is not hiding their head in the sand) that Ms. Palin wasn't leaving office for altruistic reasons.

She leaves office claiming altruistic reasons...immediately signs a book deal, announces the formation of a PAC to support her agenda, now going on a nationwide tour to promote herself and the book.

Yeah....I'm sure that the sole reason she quit was to look out for the best interests of Alaska.

Do you honestly believe that?
