Sarah Palin tells Oprah 2012 run not on radar

Sarah Palin tells Oprah 2012 run not on radar - Andy Barr - POLITICO.com

I think Sarah is learning as seen in this statement from the short clip where you hear Sarah say: "Clearer and clear everyday what I'm finding is you don't need a title to make a difference."

By ANDY BARR | 11/16/09 2:28 PM EST

Exactly, by quitting her job in Alaska (the one with the title) and hiring someone to write a book for her, she made a HUGE difference in her personal bank account... beyond that, she just continues to be divisive and polarizing. Same as in the election.

Palin is NOT electable. She isn't a good speaker, she doesn't have an ounce of gravitas, and she doesn't demonstrate an intellectual command of the issues. She will come off as an overly socially conservative rube from Alaska. This does NOT appeal to independents and moderates.

If the GOP wants the best chance of losing in 2012 then Palin is the way to go...

Obama apparently doesn't appeal to independents much any more either. No matter how well he talks, how good his speech writers are, etc.

The president’s approval rating has dropped seven points among
independents. 45% of independents now approve of how the
president is handling his job; last month a majority of 52%
approved.[/QUOTE

That is a 7% drop in ONE MONTH. At this rate he will have the same approval rating amongst independents as Palin does by March if her numbers don't increase.

Personally, I doubt she runs for President. However, she is having an impact on the political debate. As long as she is talking, politicians are forced to remember that there are 40% of the population who consider themselves to be Conservative. This cannot be a bad thing to remind that pols that the silent majority will be heard during the next election.

True. She put an end to the seemingly endless string of baseless ethics complaints that had already cost her personally over $500,000 to defend against. By leaving office, she avoided bankruptcy and additional years of fighting ethics violation claims that were each and every one proven false. So she did help her bank account.

What would you have done under those circumstances?

You wish you had my avatar.

Nah, quite happy with the one I have thank you. It’s hard to take anything you say seriously when looking at your aviator. On second thought you might as well keep it as ….well.. never mind.

*snort* .... this is funny.

You are aware that Catastrophe is a book Slamming Obama, Congress, and big Biz for destroying our economy?

*snort* .... this is funny indeed.
