......Just reported tonight....

......Just reported tonight....

Just kind of caught the tail end of him thanking CNN, Ted Turner ect. and was wondering about it, I did not catch it all, but it had the ring of a farewell to it.

Figures someone here would be johnny on the spot to confirm it for me.

Hmmmm I wonder why

I think the battle lines have been drawn, this is just another example of that!

Left, right, they have both pulled this country apart, it is high time we took it back, and put these people in their place.

Will he show up now on Fox's door? MSNBC's? Or will he be running for office in 2010? I think the latter...

Here is an in depth article from CNN-

Lou Dobbs leaving CNN

November 11, 2009 7:09 p.m. EST

Longtime CNN anchor Lou Dobbs told viewers Wednesday night that he is leaving the network.

Lou Dobbs leaving CNN - CNN.com

Yes,that is ALL of it.

It's a damn shame...Lou was the only one worth watching on CNN.

NY Times said this

"Last month the New Jersey State Police were called to Mr. Dobbs home to investigate a report of gunfire. Mr. Dobbs suggested that his family had been singled out because of his views on illegal immigration and border security."

You must be their last viewer.

I think he heard you were going to stop watching so he decided to quit.

.

CNN is the race card network, black in america, latin in america, etc, Dobbs just doesn't fit that bill.

This network will fail, and fail miserably.

Actually stopped watching a few months ago when I got rid of cable....so he's been preaching to nothing but a teleprompter

Anderson Cooper's not too bad. In Prada. ;)

Interesting that it says specficially that he's leaving CNN, not that he's leaving broadcasting.

He's likely following Glenn Beck to Fox....So he can actually have people watch him.

The anti-American network (CNNi) was the only station I could get for long spells (Vomit icon). I'd keep the sound off until there was something live.

I haven't watched in months... if you want FOX, go to: BlinkoTV | FREE iPTV Broadcasters.

Justice is being served. Doesn't O'Reilly have higher ratings than all their shows combined? :rofl

.

A conservative media channel, is a dangerous thing to a liberal, hence the immediate attacks on this network, from its very first days. Murdoch is a business genius, and I only wish I had the money, the vision, and the profit this network now enjoys, and is wildly successful, and will be for many years to come.

:rofl

Is that you axlerod?

It's Gibbsy... Axlerod doesn't have that kind of command of the English language. Though... there should have been more like...

He belongs on uhh... mmm... Faux News with the uhh...umm...uhh other liars.

I remember reading a couple of articles (2-3 months ago) that Dobbs had discussed the "birth certificate" issue with some callers on his radio show. He never said he bought into the conspiracy, but he did voice concern that it would be an issue easily resolved, and that he didn't understand why Obama or his staff put the issue to rest with incontrovertible evidence.

I'm sure that didn't go over too big at CNN, and he was probably labeled a conspiracy nut after that, so I wonder if that had anything concrete to do with it?
