Blackwater Said to Pursue Bribes to Iraq After 17 Died

Indendent contractors will always place profit before honor. There is no job that Blackwater or other private army performs that cannot be performed better by a US serviceman or woman.

Then why would we hire them? Unless everyone in government and the military is a drooling retard and you're some brilliant scholar, doesn't it seem more likely that there are actually good reasons to use private contractors that you just don't know about? I mean, we use them in almost every other area, so why not this?

I think the main problem is this. When Blackwater massacred 17 civilians in Baghdad, they fell under no legal jurisdiction, and could not be arrested.

And now you're just lying. 5 guards were indicted because of the Nisoor Square incident. You already knew that, because I told you 3 and a half months ago. Why do you continue to repeat this crap?

What can Blackwater do that the military can't?

I still want one of these... :(

But it's just those types of problems that would help keep check on needless wars. In WW2, virtually everyone served admirably because the war was so just; in Vietnam it was actually the veterans that began the protests to end an unecessary war.

Excellent observation, though do we want to go through another vietnam-esque situation to make new Veterans to protest? I'm a strong believer in a strong defense and lots, and lots, of artillery and bombers.

How long until they find a way to blow up the grizzly?

I''ll give it 3 months before it becomes obsolete.

Grizzly vehicle: $$$$$$$$$
IED that can blow it up: $$$

They've already had grizzlies out on the roads, and the armor is specifically designed to reduce or negate damage from .50 caliber rounds and IEDs.

You really should get the brochure dude. it's awesome. Though I doubt I could afford the gas on that sum*****!
