Tea partiers descend on Capitol Hill

Easy -- watch FNC for one day. Every show for one day.

FAIL

I accept your concession.

After the idiots on Fox and Friends wrap it up and they roll out that empty headed blond, you'll start to hear little phrases and story spins over and over...

Should this be in conspiracy theories?

Start writing them down and adding them up-- how many times during the day do you hear the respectable news people  on FNC repeat the same phrase or story spin...

I've done this. It's scary.

Really? Please lets see your notes..... Scan em take a pic and post them complete with dates and times.....

Sounds like OCD my friend. ;)

Hey Haznut the last time I checked there is this thing called the 1st Adm unless Mr. Obama and Queen nacey are trying to get that throw out also.

Indeed.

As is my post calling the backwards, brainless, fringe idiots out for being the worst examples of partisan politics.

My side?

What's my side?
The one opposite that of Tea Party members.

Or are you saying your aligned with the conservative movement?

I accept your contention.

No, it's called being in the business, my friend.

I worked for Fox (feature films division) back during FNCs inception. And I watched my company's new network (and still do periodically), but when I first heard the tag line "Fair and Balanced" I asked some friends in the news division what that was all about... Their exact words: "That's how they want to package it."

Do you get it? It's marketing. It's selling a conservative editorial network as news. Their most popular, highest rated programs are News-Based OPINION Shows. There was an untapped market and they cornered it at the tail end of the Clinton years.

Nothing wrong with opinion and hearing someone's point of view, but when you call it 'News' or the when people watching it believe it is News because they don't know any better, never went to college, have no critical thinking skills, then you end up with the lowest common denominator getting paranoid and grossly misinformed.

Don't be cute, I don't have any notes. You can tune in and out throughout the day and hear the hear the same things. I challenge you to listen with an open mind. Listen for the phrases repeated over and over during the so-called straight news shows and the opinion shows.

There are people who only watch Beck and Hannity and think their getting News. Very, very dangerous...

so you claimed to have done this, now you haven't as you claimed?

What do you think of people who get thier news from mathews and msnbc?

Are they "very very dangeroud".....

I find you far more of an extremist than an average fox news watcher.

My side?

What's my side?

You're response to the OP is a vague attack on my political stand based on what? That's pretty feeble...

Allow me to sum up your "stand" with your own word immediately following this 'wha....who me' response....

After the idiots on Fox and Friends wrap it up and they roll out that empty headed blond.....

Then we have this excoriating those exercising their 1st Amendment right....

As is my post calling the backwards, brainless, fringe idiots out for being the worst examples of partisan politics.

Really "the Worst examples"???? And with your inflammatory, name calling, you would be what exactly?

No, your stand is clear. Moderate? NOT.

Is it impossible for you to start a thread that isn't a partisan diatribe? Your side is just as ****ing stupid, you know...
Yes, but don't "rock the boat!"

It serves the Adult Classes well that they should remain so.

Inflammatory, name calling... I think that's redundant.

No, your stand is clear. Moderate? NOT.

I guess from the far-right, it's hard to even have a clue about what the pragmatic center is. And it must be a hard pill to swallow that us Moderates find the far-right to be a bunch of teabagging douche bags who can't think for themselves, scared of their own shadow.

I would say the far-left is a bunch of wimps who sacrifice pragmatism for emotion.

For example: Animal protection. I'm for protecting the good-looking animals--the ones that bring pleasure to humans. The bald eagle; goddamn if that's not a majestic bird. However, some ugly duckling in the swamp??--It's the circle of life, baby, we can't protect them all.

This post is really no different than the ones made by people feigning outrage about the signs at anti-war rallies either. Some people are attention whores and like to whore it up as much as possible by putting something stupid on their protest sign. Plenty of people did it at anti-war rallies and plenty do it at these Tea Party rallies. Of course, in each case, the opposing side focuses on these few nutjobs in an effort to make it look like they are all crazy.

I've done this. It's scary.

Do you mean the "empty headed blond" that graduated from Syracuse with a degree in Political Science, got her J.D. degree from Albany Law School, was editor of the Albany Law Review, and was a practicing attorney before joining Fox???

Is that dumb blond you're talking about ???

Ever heard the term sexist pig?

The pragmatic center is some myth liberals trot out during elections. Keep towing the party line there ... I think the real douch bags who can't think for themselves do the same thing - tow the party line.

The one's who can get off their asses and use their Constitutional rights to assemble and make themselves heard.

Riddle me this, Ockham -- who paid for the 40 buses?

Simple question: WHO paid for the 40 buses?

Come on.

Own it.

Own it.

Choke on it.

It's bull**** corporate funded astroturfing... PR campaigns funded by wealthy special interests... Spontaneous my ass.

God, if people would just get better informed before they open their mouths...

Here's some light reading for ya, sport: Americans for Prosperity

You know who's taking away your freedom to think? Koch.

Who paid for their lunch and the porta potty's? Does that mean they're also in bed with government interests? You're feeble astro-turf nonsense wallows in SEIU and George Soros **** so deep you must have swallowed some of it. Tell you what ... PAL ... I could care less who paid for the busses as long as the people get to say what they want to say. Or... does the AFP also put microchips into these people's brains and channel Goldwater too?

I like the fake Wiki theme look of your link though. It's sweet. Go back to George Soro's cronies and get something a little less "yesterday" or possibly stolen from Keith Olberdork?

Funny stuff ... not too intelligent ... but funny.

Yes, and unfortunately it even applies to oxygen bandits like those holding those signs

Hey Scorpion, Last time I checked there was this thing called grammar, Unless your ignorance and illiteracy are trying to throw that out also.

<3

Yes, it's actually a picture of holocaust bodies. These people have no shame and no brains.

Yeah but Liberals would have done (and have done) similarly distasteful ****. So, It's simply a case of the shoe being on the other foot. No one can claim the moral high ground here.

Ever heard the term sexist pig?

Listen to the racist homophobe getting all uppity...

(my point is your comment is hyperbole--exaggerating my comment, blowing it up to say something it doesn't...)

Kelly sure dumbs it down for the fox audience--she's got that spastic, wide-eyed, paranoid "gotcha" look when she thinks uncovered some conspiracy, rolling her eyes sarcastically. She sure didn't go to journalism school--doesn't have clue about reporting news.

Let's be honest. There is no science to politics.

I'll say it before... the tea partiers have no united cause. They all come out of the woodwork protesting about an array of different things. They have no coherency.

Seeing those signs is disturbing. I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that they think the rest of the country takes them seriously, or the fact that their signs are all talking points from Fox news. Have the news conglomerates risen to religious proportions or something?

It's genius! The powers of Chaos laid before you...You cannot hope to best them all!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!...ehem...I'm sorry what were we talking about?

So what you're saying is that you worked in an industry and somehow remained completely ignorant of how business is done across the entire industry.

That's a revelation.

I guess from the far-right, it's hard to even have a clue about what the pragmatic center is.

As usual, there IS NO CENTER.

A person wants socialised medicine, including this scam "public option", or a person does not want it.

There's no overlap area to compromise on.

Either one side gets the free ride they're demanding or the other side gets to protect American freedom for a while longer.

With luck, the socialists will lose this battle and it will extend deep enough into next year to remove the Democrats from the majority in the House and re-filibusterize the Senate.

(yeah, filibusterize is now a word.)

She sure didn't go to journalism school--doesn't have clue about reporting news.

So what you're saying is that she doesn't belong on a news network like Fox and instead should be working for MSNBC, See BS, or CNN.
