Sharpton, Jackson Attack Limbaugh's Rams Bid

The funniest part of all this, is how the Libbos get their panties in a knot over out of context comments made by Rush, yet when Chris Matthews says that Rush should be killed, or when Olberman calls Michele Malkin a, "mashed up bag of meat with lipstick on it", the Libbos are strangely silent.

I don't believe you about Matthews at all. Obbermann is indeed a Leftwing version of a Glenn Beck aka a bufoon and idiot. Matthews is an opinionated talking head but not stupid enough to have said that.

Show us the video where Matthees clearly said that and I will retract my staement on nonbelief.

Oh, gee, here ya go. Watch the video, baby. Matthews clearly states that one day someone is going to kill Rush for the things that Rush says on the air. Doesn't that fall under the, "taking responsibility for what you say", category that the Libbos are always whining about?

no no no non, nein, nih, Saying that someday someone may do a bad deed and actually saying that Rush should meet his own demise violently is not the same.

You gotta be kidding me! Matthews clearly stated, that one day, someone was going to kill Rush Limbaugh. No where can you find a Conservative making a remarks remotely close to this and if he had, you Libbos would be all over it. Thank you for exposing your hypocrisy for all of us to see.

Matthews said,

I have to tell you, Rush Limbaugh is looking more and more like Mr. Big, and at some point somebody’s going to jam a CO2 pellet into his head and he’s going to explode like a giant blimp.

If Coulter, or Hannity had said this, you Libbos would nut all over each other posting threads whining about it.

You make yourselves irrelevant when you ignore stuff like this. You know that, right?

No way come on now !! Matthews was making a prediction in a figurative way. Who in their right mind would think that a co2 pellet could actually make a head explode!!! I will say that it is possible that if someone has an extremely tin skull or is soft headed ( literally) a co2 pellet weapon can cause damage if held up to the head real close.

Matthews was comparing Rush to a fictional James Bond villain. Some inferred from that because the villain died at the end of the movie that Matthews meant for Rush to die.

Even as far-fetched as that is, Matthews apologized tonight on his show if anyone misunderstood his comments.

I don't remember hearing of El Rushbo apologizing for anything, ever! But feel free to post a link to any of Rush's apologies for any of the hateful things he's said over the years.

Your devotion to Rush is touching however!

Mathews apologized? Dang there are some righties who could really learn some lessons from him.

A major part of their party's problem is that they absolulely refuse to accept any responsiblilty for their faults and failures. Past and Present.
Nobody is going to trust people with attitudes like that. Nor should they.

It's highly likely that Rush's application is going too be denied because of his racist statements and it should be. But this is only going to stoke his fire and he is going to use it as ammo because he was picked on by the mean ol black establishment and that is what he will scream to his wacko base.

The only wacko base are those who still think the black Nazi's Sharpton and Jackson are still relevant.

So there we have it....

A guy that exercises his first amendment rights and says controversial things who would be a minority owner behind the scenes must have a sweeping amount of public demand to keep him away.

But a guy that was touted as a role model, as a face of the NFL, who committed not a mistake but a systematic continual violation of the law and a continual repeated attempt to hide and lie about that fact should be lauded and cheered for to get his "right" to a second chance.

I swear people boggle my mind sometimes.

vick had every right to pursue a second chance. just as each owner had every right not to hire him.

rush had every right to pursue ownership, just as the nfl owners had every right to turn him away.

it's a business, right?

Your right, but you forgot to mention Sheila Jackson Lee. When she decided to stand on the floor of Congress and bloviate about Limbaugh, she dragged the govt into the debate.

Dude, it's pure capitalism.

The Market has spoken.

God, she is such an embarrassment to Democrats.

Remove racist, and insert any derogatory remark towards the opposition, and it will still be convenient.

We all can perceive comments in any fashion we so desire, but until the guy states publicly that he believes one race is inferior to another, calling him racist is a convenient way of downplaying his position. And i think he is an idiot!

Not because i disagree with republicans, but because of his horse buggy whip comment when he was on Jay Leno's show.

But that is his drawing power, the controversy. That is like saying Eminem is racist because of his "black bitches only care about your money" song when he was a nobody.
hold on......rush isn't MY opposition, he's a slob with a brain. he's very good at whipping up the deluded people who listen to him. really, dittohead? too appropriate.

Yet....you hear nothing about George Soros, who is also a part of the group attempting to buy the Rams?

Of course not. His politics are OK with the media.

I'm not commenting on the business aspect of it. I understand that fully. I'm not a raging hypocrite like Sharpton and Jackson who think the black man has a "right" to be in the nfl but the white guy doesn't have a "right" to be in it.

I'm more commenting on the social backlash, especially in the media.

You had idiot bleeding hearts in the sports media like Kevin Blackenstone going on and on how Mike Vick needs a second chance, Mike Vick needs to be back in the league, even if there are people protesting and Vick broke league rules, he shouldn't be barred from being back in the league....who then turn around and start writing stories filled with misleading, and some absolutely false, information about Rush Limbaugh and how he shouldn't own a team.

You have outrage on the part of players and owners and the commissioner and some fans about Rush Limbaugh being potentially allowed into the league because of controversial SPEECH...

Yet you had outpouring of support from many of those same people for a man that was a face of the franchise, a role model (like it or not, sports people are for many), who was systematically and continually using his wealth generated from football to participate in illegal activities and continually broke league policy.

Its not the business aspect that bothers me. I understand and accept that and support that completely, unlike the hypocrites on the other side that were against the business/priveldge aspects of it with Vick but for it with Limbaugh, its the social part that bugs me.

I just heard about this earlier. Karma rules again. Rushbo's chickens came home to roost!

So having conservative views, one should be punished? How statist of you.

Yeah, because there's SO much depth to the liberal positions. LOL. Whatever they are.

He's batting about .990 in his career debating liberals. It's why he catches all the venom, because he's almost always proven to be right in the end.

So........quick, call him a racist, Al and Jesse. Hmmm, Tawana Brawley and the Duke lacrosse team...whatever happened with those?

Yeah, the media has favorites. Is it no surprise that the media doesn't like Limbaugh though? He's only railed against them for over twenty years. He has reaped what he has sown. He should have stayed with the Royals.

Yeah I'm sure he wishes he'd stayed with the Royals.

You think he would be making $50 million a year and have 15 million people listening to him every week if he was still in KC??
