Tea partiers turn on GOP leadership

What was the unemployment rate when Bush took over? What was it four years into his adminstration?

What caused the mortgage bubble?

Answering those questions honestly can open your eyes to the truth.

Well answer them post a fact or two and attempt to make me look like an idiot. Good Luck:2wave:

Rather, they were hijacked by Republican crazies, who are out of the mainstream of the Republican party.

Oh my, this is truly laughable and delusional. Tell me something, did you do a poll of all the people who are participating in this Democratic show of free speech; or are you once again making up your own versions of reality?

I asked you the questions because you were giving the appearance that you thought you knew what you were talking about. Obviously, and not surprising, you were just talking out of your ass again without any facts.

The notion that I have to make you look like an idiot is quite funny. :doh

Since you seem to know everything from here to the high heavens and google included you can make me look like an idiot. Your choice oh wise one not mine. Please include some selective facts in your rant against me mmmmkay.:2wave:

Fascinating that you continue to think this is about you. :doh

How did what I said have in any way shape or form make you think that post was about me? It was all about you and your greatness and ability or lack of making people look like idiots. You have an open door so go for it.

Of course a conservative Blog would say that...they probably think Faux/CBN news is credible too.

You can't argue with the numbers no matter where the story is from.

Thanks for playing. :2wave:

Say I have 1 dollar of debt but three dollars in my pocket and I owe the owner of this debt one dollar and twenty five cents. I'm left with seventy five cents in my pocket. That is where the surplus comes from. Now if I have only seventy five cents in my pocket Im in deep doo doo.

Your math skills aside :2razz: I corrected it for you.

In FY2001 the National Debt was $5.807463 trillion with a $133.29 Billion dollar deficit.

It does not take a genius to figure out they were fudging the numbers and the surplus was fiction.

Aren't you the same guy who insisted most tea partiers were nothing more than partisan Republicans? But now those same partisan Republicans are turning on Republican leadership and pushing their own candidates in oppositition to the GOP leadership's candidates.

Tea partiers just can't win with you. Not that I consider that a startling revelation, but I felt I needed to point that out here.

Hear hear!

Yes the teabaggers were so concerned about the well being of our country that all they could do is sit around quietly with their thumb planted. For eight years.

That is why people have no choice but too see them as nothing but a joke now.

It takes a special kind of Anti-Americanism to make this sort of stuff up. Most of these people, like myself were against Bush's spending and did speak up. It is the anti-american types who tend to resort to lies in order to make a point about dissenting Americans.

It was the GOP leadership who were calling the Dems "appeasers" to terrorists and terrorism..in fact it was George Bush himself. That is where this current pack of nutjobs got their credentials.

Yet another reason it is going to take years before ANYBODY takes them seriously again.

Link please.

You don't have a ****ing god damn clue what you're talking about, the Clinton administration refused to take into account the interest accrued on the national debt, the national debt still increased that year. Get educated.

Oh and FYI Clinton wasn't even responsible for the decrease in the national deficit for that last year to begin with it was the Republican Congress who forced him kicking and screaming into welfare and entitlement reform. Again get educated.

There was no surplus there was a increase in the national debt that year. The Clinton sycophants refuse to take into account the interest accrued on the national debt for that year. Tell us another one.

Sorry my father in law was talking at the same time. Even at a buck seventy five Im still ahead of my debt IOW I have a surplus

If you take into account the interest accrued on the national debt between Fiscal years 1999-2000 then there was no surplus. The national debt increased not decreased during Clinton's last year in office.

Tea Party activists are a mix of far-right, fringe-right, really right of center right, bigots, and assorted mentally unstable folks.

The Tea Party protesters are main stream America.

Here is a few excerpts from a recent blog entry of mine:

Grim17 said:
The left either out of ignorance, or by design, have grossly underestimated the number of people in America that agree with those protesters and their message... A message that all too often is lost in the coverage by the main stream media.

What they are protesting is Obama's policies, not him personally as the left would have you believe. It's about governments spending for programs such as Cap & Trade, Government run health care, corporate bail outs and more stimulus packages. They think Washington needs to address the economy and bring the deficit under control, instead of spending more money on more government programs. They are basically saying, "Less government, not more", and "Don't bankrupt America's future".

...

The polls don't lie, and the efforts by the main stream media, liberals pundits, and the democrats in Washington to marginalize these protesters because of a few objectionable signs, or because they don't like some of the things they say about the current administration, doesn't change the validity of their message, or the number of people who agree with that message.

The sleeping giant has awakened... and for those of you on the left that haven't figured it out yet, trying to convince people that they are "stupid", "racists", or "hate mongers" if they agree with those protesters, or pundits like Glenn Beck that support them, is a liberal tactic that's no longer effective.

Far too many people don't like what they are seeing from Obama and the democrats, and no matter what you say or do, your not going to get them to shut up, go home, or go back to sleep. Obama and the democrats on capitol hill have pushed their progressive agenda too far this time, and the American people are going to put a stop to it, because they fear for the country's future.

I back it up by posting a number of public opinion polls.

Yeah, that's the way to put forth an intelligent debate. By using stupid, stereotyping, bigoted ad hominem statements. Excellent. Way to raise the IQ around here. (psst, that last one was sarcasm).

The GOP has consistently tried to horn-in on the TEA Party movement.. To a certain degree they are tolerated.. but NOT at the 7/4 COBB Co TEA Party!

they had lined up thinking they were going to get to speak... that didn't work out for 'em! :3oops:

I am actually getting encouraged though by progressives... you can smell the fear!

Now folks like Soros are trying to figure out how to jail us all!!

I was under the impression that capitalist economies went through boom and bust cycles.

That is correct; what economic theory suggests that a Government can borrow and spend its way out of one?

Wow, you're an economic theorist now, maybe the government should hire you since you seem to know more than them. In what sane mind is a free economy great depression preferable?

We bought out this bust cycle and prevented a great depression from what I understand.
And that is the farcical lie only the most gullible among us can possibly believe.

I SEE so its a secret plot, to undermine the economy ahh. I gotcha ;)

What we did is buy ourselves and extended economic collapse

I see so that was their plan. Wowie the implications are enormous, buddy. They're working to destroy the nation or sumthin. jeeze.

Our debt to gdp ratio is not that bad from what I hear. This bailout is a better economic plan than another war.
Another fracical assertion; but then again, you are attempting to defend the indefensible.

What do you think the current debt to GDP is right now?

The notion that we fight wars for economic gain is another farcical delusion

I guess NPR is a liberal farcical powerhouse, when it told me that GDP to debt was sustainable.

Year Gross Debt in Billions as % of GDP
2009 (est.) 12,867.5 20.0
1950 257.4 94.1

If the military structure was completely nationalised there would have been no iraq war for the lack of profit.

instead create permanent deficits and dependent wards of the state.

I see its for the purpose of creating a defecit ab initio. by GAWD. These men are surely nazis.

You also cannot blame obama for the unemployment level, he inherited this economy.
How trite, yet you wish to blame the economy Bush inherited on Bush.

Tell me something, how many years do you think it will take before it IS Obama's economy?

Well it certainly wasn't his economy a couple months into his term when it crashed and Bush WAS around for 8 years JUST BEFORE HIM. So Im gonna go into a corner and think think think really hard about it and see what I come up with, you'll have to get back with me on that.

The unemployment level has climbed directly due to the policies of these Democrats and this President.

Source?

He also inherited the crumbling infrastructure that got grades of Cs and Ds, due to the bush administration.

I find this argument laughable in the extreme; who do you think is responsible for States infrastructure?

I was gonna say something abut the federal cuts to their funding.. but you can fly off and visit any planet you like.

Absolutely; he lied about Gitmo, he lied about Iraq and Afghanistan, he lied about creating 5,000,000 new high paying jobs and he will be proved a liar when the Democrats have to raise the taxes and fees to pay for the trillions of dollars they have spent that they dont have which has done NOTHING to create anything remotely considered to be economic activity.

Where was his promise that all effects would be instantaneous?

There you go again, making things up to fit your narrow partisan views of the world in a vacuum of reality and credible facts.

I made no assumptions about you until you started posting like this.

I am hardly surprised a Liberal would have to ask such a silly question while pretending they don't know the answer.

I bet you think it is just a big Peace Corps.

I bet you think you know what I think. You cut me deep, friend.

Another laughable yet farcical argument requiring the willful suspension of disbelief or the willful denial of reality and the facts.

Iran's entire military, economy and what little industrial capacity it has could be destroyed in a matter of weeks.

RAAWR WE GOT TEH BOMBS TO TOALY SMASH THEM! Do you know what a military action against a country in modernity would entail (past destroying it, of course you seem to get that part, youre army strong arent you?)

Carry on; I look forward to more of your clown like assertions about economics, war and the human condition.

Ill stick to what I know form my political science major and what I know in that youre agression is just a display of your one-sidedness, and your lack of source quoting because you have none.

Congratulations you're the least enlightening debate I've had so far.

I find it funny when the anti-American crown runs around calling people who dissent "tea-baggers" ....
You mean those in the party of gay rights? Consequently I wonder how they come to associate teabagging to the party which includes the religious right.

The religious right are probably some of the biggest teabaggers out there.

Cuz the doofuses made signs proclaiming, "Tea Bag the White House" "Tea Bag the Liberals", "Tea Bag ___________".

It was funny as hell. Thus, they are the teabaggers!
