Tea partiers turn on GOP leadership - Yahoo! News

...tea party forces are confronting the Republican establishment by backing insurgent conservatives and generating their own candidates — even if it means taking on GOP incumbents.

Yes......don't you get it GOP....you've got to become the teabag party.
Shun the moderates....shun the independents......embrace the teabaggers and the right-wing base. This is the new GOP.

It's all they got. They have to run with it.

anti-tax anti-big government wackos. God help us all.

Remember the part about "The revolution *won't* be televised?" -- they lied.

You forget that the Tea Parties started with Ron Paul, most of whose supporters won't support any other politician currently elected. They were 100% libertarian in the beginning, and they were gradually watered down by mainstream republicans after Obama's election.

I was under the impression that the tea party activist were a mixture of democrats, republicans and other people which basically means they are above the dumb ass mentality of "republicans good, democrats evil" or "democrats good, republicans evil", why would they support the GOP?

You were mislead.

I find it funny when the anti-American crown runs around calling people who dissent "tea-baggers" ....

gee, if they and those who lined ONE MILE of pennsylvania avenue last month (a sea of humanity hardly seen anywhere but in china) aren't republicans, then the party in power is REALLY in trouble

Tea Party activists are a mix of far-right, fringe-right, really right of center right, bigots, and assorted mentally unstable folks.

I thought it started with little Rick in Chicago bleating away on CNBC ...

I am continually amused when Liberals attempt to define Conservatism or the Republican Party while their candidates run this country into the sewer.

But alas, when your party continues to destroy the economy, accomplish nothing and demagogue their opponents, you have to find something to divert attention onto.

What do Democrats stand for? Huge deficits, high unemployment, zero GDP growth and policies that do nothing for the people they claim to champion but rather make them dependent wards of the State.

Hardly anything to be proud of which would explain why Liberals and their willing allies in the mainstream media keep trying to demagogue their political opponents.

:rofl

What evidence do you have to back this claim up? What a handfull of people making a bogus comparison of Obama to Hitler(Like liberals have done no such thing when Bush was in office). I think the people with the bogus comparison of Obama to Hiler signs was the health care townhall meetings not the tea party protests.

These are free americans that are standing up for their liberty, no party is representing those rights, so it is only logical that they throw these republicans under the bus!

I am actually proud of america again!

And when you've lost the House and Senate once again in 13 months, what'll you be saying then?

It is absolutely dillusional that anyone would think that the people of this nation would trust the Republicans to run anything in 16 years much less 13 months.

They don't even have control over their own party.

Aren't you the same guy who insisted most tea partiers were nothing more than partisan Republicans? But now those same partisan Republicans are turning on Republican leadership and pushing their own candidates in oppositition to the GOP leadership's candidates.

Tea partiers just can't win with you. Not that I consider that a startling revelation, but I felt I needed to point that out here.

It all strikes me as a spell of political insanity on the tea-baggers part.

I am quite certain that most democrats fear the gravy train may well indeed go off the tracks, it is little wonder why they are scrambling to spin this movement. Just as republicans realized that they could not benefit from this movement, and immediately started to distance themselves from them. This is the middle that is tired of being played, like I said, I am pleased to see them standing up!

Yes the teabaggers were so concerned about the well being of our country that all they could do is sit around quietly with their thumb planted. For eight years.

That is why people have no choice but too see them as nothing but a joke now.

The only joke are the members of dear leaders cult of personality like you.
