We had a different president a year ago and there was a call for a new strategy that was ignored you werent creating multiple threads bitching about the president doing other things while troops died back then but now you are. The only fail here is with your selective outrage maybe youre used to having a mediocre president

I don't think he is somehow uncaring, but I do think it is a difficult, complex issue that not even the top military brass can come to agreement on how to handle. Sometimes things do take time, and it is better to take the time, get a complete analysis from those who are experts(including McChrystal), and make the best decision. The idea that somehow Obama does not care because he is taking the time to try and get it right is not going to fly.

Where are the topics from 2007 when general anthony tata was complaining about bush moving troops from afghanistan to iraq? How about the pentagon was saying dispatching troops from afghanistan to iraq would strain the army and marine corp? Selective memory or selective outrage on your part

Hard to find topics of you created bitching and moaning about bush ignoring his generals if you never created those topics isnt it. You said the issue was never brought up it was army general anthony tata was shifted from afghanistan to iraq even though he knew the taliban was resurging. I cant post links from my phone i can only tell you information. There was an article in wapo on december 17 2007 bush faces pressure to shift was priorities.
Even gates was saying bush had no strategy where was your bitching back then while your comrades died

Come on heres another of your tactics show topics youve created bitching about troops dying in afghanistan while bush did other things and lacked an afghan strategy i sure cant find any of those topics. Anyone else want to try an advanced search on revs name with a keyword of afghanistan going back over a year ago and topics hes created. It is true you only read half of my posts before your brain starts going off on a tangent. Ive consistently stated since i first replied asking where are the multiple topics you created bitching about troops dying while bush did nothing about afghanistan. The goal posts have always been in the same position since my first reply. The only thing that is embarrassing is the convenient way you use your comrades as props for your selective outrage.

Can you read rev? I told you i cant post links from my cell phone i have you a publication name an article and a date you can easily find that. You keep crying as your inconsistency is pointed out to you. The only dishonesty going on here is how nonchalantly exploit your dead comrades in arms with your continued selective outrage and partisan hackery. You should be apologizing to the families of those 43 troops for exploiting their deaths and making a mockery of their sacrifice with your hackery

Sorry Rev but the way you were posting especially making multiple threads about it it did seem like you were using their deaths to score cheap political points to say the CIC doesn't care about the troops while he's on an 18 hour trip. It doesn't give you a free pass to do what you were doing Rev. I merely asked you for references of topics you created making the same complaints about Bush which I couldn't find any. Now do you really think he's incommunicado during this time? Doesn't the General going behind the chain of command's back and going to the press after 5 days border on insubordination? Generals got fired for less during the previous president's administration

It was an observation after seeing the two threads of ZOMG troops are dying obama doesn't care, he cares more about the olympics than the troops. That's the way it came off
