Iran test-fires missiles amid nuclear tension

nope, that's exactly what they want. I believe open war is the worst way of doing that. instead supporting the inside opposition is more effective and less dangerous for Iranian and Israeli people.

I understood that students took to the streets again in Iran this week. Thinking of you.

not only the students, but also normal people. that's what they're afraid of, and that's what we lacked before; the unity between intellectuals and normal people.

support as in?

Thanks, I would say this in regards to Israel though. I think that United States can prevent them from striking just by saying so. Remember, they asked Bush if they could attack and he said no. Israel certainly does not want to see a nuclear Iran, but at the same time they do not want to upset the United States, and a strike would almost certainly have backlash directly against American forces in the region.

I think that until it is absolutely critical that sites be hit, Israel can be persuaded to stand down simply by telling them to do so. I am not sure we have reached that point yet, but we will before to long no doubt.

Yes, I quite agree.

We are rapidly reaching the point of no return. Iran will comply or they will eventually face military action. Iran's repeated lies, deceptions, and outright stonewalling are reason enough to be concerned about what they are *really* doing.

Iranian enrichment needs to be stopped. Period. Iran can comply or they can face the eventual action that will stop them.

Isreal WILL (with or without or support) attack Iran at the very second they think Iran has an nuclear weapon.

Iran's lies and nonsensical bull**** are about to come back and bite them in the ass.

Gentlemen, where I agree Iran has come to the point of no return, I see potential issues with Israel acting alone. She MUST have full US support and cooperation and....help.

Iran will respond savagely to any attack by Israel, a serious conflict from Lebanon will certainly occur, perhaps Gaza will uncork, Syria may decide it's time to start another war, Iran can step up efforts in our theatres of Afghanistan and Pakistan, we're gonna have to be involved. Any action by Israel must have our blessings and any response from Iran must come with the knowledge that the US is more than willing to get involved, in fact, already is.

And...is this President willing to go to war with Iran as a wingman for Israel? Let's face it, the Olympics ain't the top shelf difficulty in Europe or Asia or the ME and this Cat received the least number of votes of any city. Has he the kahunas to take steps necessary to implement anyone's suggestions in his forum on Iran?
