Elementary School Students Taught to Sing Praises of President Obama

Nearly 20 young children are captured in an online video as they sing songs that overflow with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," as they repeatedly chant the president's name and celebrate his accomplishments.

Mm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that all must lend a hand
To make this country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said we must be fair today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

Yes!
Mmm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

Song 2:
Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments, we all doth say "hooray!"

Hooray, Mr. President! You're number one!
The first black American to lead this great nation!

Hooray, Mr. President we honor your great plans
To make this country's economy number one again!

Hooray Mr. President, we're really proud of you!
And we stand for all Americans under the great Red, White, and Blue!

So continue ---- Mr. President we know you'll do the trick
So here's a hearty hip-hooray ----

Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!
Hip, hip hooray!

I demand that all parties involved be immediately terminated. This is indoctrination, this is America not ****ing Nazi Germany or North Korea.

I understand that the song was highly inappropriate, and yea it is most definitely indoctrinating...but terminated!? They're children!

"Equal work means equal pay"

Sure, but who defines what equal work is?

It's too late for me to watch the video but are those the actual words to the songs?

WTF!

Whoever is teaching there really dropped the ball on that one.
They had to know that such a "song" would cause all sorts of problems.

Yep, I totally agree. The political message is very out of line.

EDIT: Though, that's not to say that it was a negative message. I think that the general message itself if very positive, and seems to be very encouraging. It's just not appropriate to submit children to politics at this age.

I'm appalled. Who could write such crappy lyrics? Man, children's music just keeps on sucking.

I think it's weird and cheesy but not in any Hail Hitler type of way. It's more like there is finally a hero of sorts for blacks to look up to and there hasn't been such a famous successful black leader in quite some time. He is the first black president and so it's likely they'll be all kinds of tributes to him wanted or not, appropriate or not.

Similar to the crappy songs kids sing about Martin Luther King during black history month

Preschool Martin Luther King Songs and Music

I wonder if they sang any monkey songs about George W. Bush.

Oooo! I found some:

Except in those two cases of NK and Nazi Germany, the leaders of those countries forced people to praise them.

This was the work of teachers, not Obama.

And yes, I think this deserves an investigation and I don't think it would be going too far to suspend or even possibly terminate the jobs of the administrators involved.

They tried to excuse it by saying they sang songs with Lincoln's and George Washington's name, but they had to have known it would have caused problems to use Obama's name and accomplishments in this fashion.

You can celebrate black history month without having the children singing praises about Obama.

I couldn't agree with you more.

If this is true then this needs to stop RIGHT NOW. The teacher(s) and any administartors involved in this must face severe disiplanary action.

One caveat , "]If [/COLOR]this is true .. Let us not that this came from FOX the home of Glenn Wreck and Saun Vannity need I say more ?

In the Russian dominated Soviet Union this type of stuff was ranmpant especially during the Stalin years. The Chi Coms sang the "praises" of Chaiman Mao and I believe that in Cuba they sang about another muderer Castro. There is no excuse for political indocrination.

As I noted in another post I would like to see an fair and balanced source for this story since all that we have thus far is Faux Newzs.

I think the video pretty much speaks for itself.

The only thing that may make this okay is that it is not at school (though clearly it is inside of an assembly room). If this was part of a daycare center, maybe. If this was at a youth club for children, then I guess that would be okay.

But if I had to guess, it's an actual class, albeit a somewhat smaller class size than I'm used to seeing.

Well if not altered or faked then a video can "speak for itself". Still when the source is from a network where one of the taking heads once accused President Obama of not liking White people you will have to understand why I am skeptical.

On your points though I would not say that this is "ok" if it's not a school. Reason is that I disagree very strongly with using children for political messages and protests. I do not like it when the anti-war freaks use childeren and I hate it as well when some Tea Bagging Bufoons used children to project their oppinions. I also very much hate it when the anti-abortionists use children to project an anti-abortion message.

Using childeren to political mssaging is just plain wrong. I called that Igloo Girl girl and her disreptable supporters out when she and they used her children for political messsaging. If this case is true then the people who had those children sinking the praises of OBAMA as if he was a dictator need to be persuaded that they did wrong with some permanent punishment.

Quick question, if the rest of his term is as riddled with poor leadership as the first 8 months, can we have our children singing songs about what a fool he is?

Oh... wait, sorry. That would be racist.

Celebrating long dead Presidents is a bit different than singing an indoctrination song about a living President don't you think?
