So this has been a pretty big story in connecticut. I used to live in New Haven when I went to school and at times there were certain parts of the city that were rather unsafe as with any city. The thing being that this girl was a student working in a secure lab. They had found bloody clothes in another panel inside the lab the other day and they found the body inside a wall of the lab. Must be an inside job here, a student who knew her, maybe one of the guards. The building has 70+ security cameras and requires keycard access to enter.

That is a unfounded assumption. While I can't speak for Yale, I have not been impressed by the technological security of IDs found at other colleges. However, the most obvious way to break the security would be to simply snatch someones ID or talk someone into letting you in the lab. Although it is perhaps most likely someone with legitimate access committed the crime, it not any solid.

Well there are a lot of questions still. The point the person would somewhat need to know the layout, plus they have pretty high security at Yale's lab with a guard posted. They would have had to have plenty of time to stuff the body behind a wall, clean up the blood depending on what instrument was used and if it got on them. It seems more likely someone who might have known her to get close or a student who knew the lab.

I don't think it's a coincidence that this happened shortly before her wedding. I'd bet that a jealous person didn't want her to get married. It looks like a crime of passion. I just hope that she died fighting. I wouldn't want her last moments to be filled with helplessness and horror.

They say that the fiance is not a suspect so may it is a former boyfriend or a family member. MAYBE IT WAS AN HONORE KILLING!!

I think it was someone who worked in that building and had a crush on her, someone who couldn't accept her marrying someone else.

I am 67 miles awy from YALE but since it's a small state this story hits us here. I know that the majority of people at Yale are from out of state put it just feels that this heppened on out watch since it is oour state.

I've known some Yale students and I was surprised to learn that a high % of their students are from CT. They also have many employees who are almost entirely from CT. As a lab tech myself I know many lab techs who work there. I'm only two towns away. AFAIK none of the people that I know met her or worked in that building.

I'd say I'm about 30 miles away being in Fairfield County. But yeah it is a small state from where I'm at I can be in the state of NY in about 15 minutes and to go to mass which would mean crossing the other side of the state would be around an hour and a half
