Just because the person steps down does not always mean they are guilty. Sometimes they stepdown so as not tie up the administration by having to defend against the accusations.

Trial by media is all to common anymore. What makes it worse is the media does not seem to try their own. Limbaugh used to rant and rave during the Reagan years about drug abuse. Then he gets busted for drugs and checks into rehab. Addicted to pain killers because of his back is what he claimed. Family values O'riely and his sexual harrasment suit.

Connie Chung and the Gingrich's mother thing. CNN canned her because of the public outcry but other news agencies have tried to sneak her back in from time to time but she has ruined herself in the public eye. The only reason she is not around anymore

And then these kinds media persons claim outrage at politicians. But only the politicians that belong to another party.
