Rep. Jenkins: GOP looking for "great white hope"

Wrong.

They call Obama a socialist with aboslute disgust in their tone.

They call him a fascist with absolute disgust in their tone.

They call him a communist with absolute disgust in their tone.

I'm still trying to figure out how the President can be all three political stripes at the same time, given that its impossible, but hey, thats ok.

What they really want to say is he is a (insert N word here)!

But they can't. So the crazies choose to call him a socialist, communist and fascist at the same time.

Wow, so when the Libs were calling Bush pretty much the same thing, with much greater emphasis on fascist and nazi, with the same disgust in their tones, they were really calling him the N-word?

That's like...so deep, man. Totally.

I'm confused, whose this Shrub character? Did we have a plant of some sort voted into the presidency? Did the Knights that say Ni have something to do with this?

Please, I'm a bit lost. Who is this "Shrub" gentleman?

He sits in a ceramic pot outside the home of the other mythical character, Igloo Girl.

Maybe you should try reading the rest of my comments in this thread before sharing an opinion.

Maybe you should try reading the rest of my comments in this thread before sharing an opinion.

Maybe you should try not presenting fallacious comments like the ones you did that lead me to my justified opinion of your contribution to the discussion.

I will continue to share my opinion and there is nothing you can do but deal with it or cry about it. Get over it.

It's just an expression....

Again, try reading my comments before you share an opinion.

Your opinion, is far from justified. It smacks of a poster uninformed.

It is nothing more than a vacuous attempt to "spank" me.

I have already answered the Bush thing.

Of course, you would have known that, if you had bothered to read this thread from page one.

Not to my satisfaction. My justified opinion stands.

As far as I could tell your only argument was "It's different because Obama is black."

Yeah, you can call white people ridiculous things and it's fine, but do it to black people and it's racist. How does this make sense again?

Not to my satisfaction. My justified opinion stands.

Your satisfaction, or ineterpretation of your opinion does not interest me.

What it is, is obvious.

A lazy way to excuse yourself for not bothering to read the whole thread.

I never said it makes sense.

It is one of those double standard anomalies that exist because it exists.

You are absolutely correct that if a person calls a white person a "honky" it is 'technically' the same as calling a black a "N word."

However unfair, there is a societal difference.

The truth of the matter is, it is ok for black man to call a white person a name, but it is not ok for a white man to call a black person a "N word."

Except of course, if one is a position of high public office.

I do not why, my guess is as good as yours.

One of the many golden rules concerning politics: Never play the race against a minority first. Its always a loser.

So what? Bush got the same treatment for 6-7 years after the post 9-11 screw ups started coming to light. Get used to it.

My god the bull**** being spewed from this thread just amazes me.

When you hear crazy protester call Obama a Socialist/Communist/Facist = Code Language for the N word.

Really? Do you have fact for this or is the all knowing all seeing all intelligent "The_Limit" somehow just deeming it so?

Wrong.

.....ah, so its the latter option.

Well, that's a lot of baseless conjecture with nothing to back it up and no actual foundation or grounding in reality. Outstanding. It sure is fun to make baseless accusations, say they're facts, back them up with zero evidence, and then act all offended when people don't really care what you think.

Question, where are all the liberals that bitched and bitched and bitch about "talking points" during the health care debate now? Will? Disney? Former? The "Socialist/communist/fascist = N word" talking point has been mouthed by numerous democratic spokesman and pundits...are you going to shout your outrage that someone is using "talking points"? Or is that reserved simply for conservatives?

Oh, and I see F107HyperSabr has joined in on the idiotic, baseless, worthless notion that it calling him a socialist is really just "code" for calling him a nigger. Jesus. You are the people that bitch and complained, and rightfully so, with the "You're with us or you're against us", you're either for america or for the terrorist mentality. Yet you're going to sit here and go "These people have a different view than me and are outspoken about it....THEY MUST BE RACISTS!"

Pathetic, and frankly disgusting.

Stop watching FOX news.

This is the most humerous thing I've seen in the entire thread. If there's any "conservative" on this site that is as far from a Foxbot as possible it'd be Ikari.

Who are these people calling him all 3?

Silly Laila. You don't get to ask for proof...that'd require...you know...proof.

Another poster who has not read all of my opinons in this thread.

Then why are you so feverishly defending yourself against it?

No, claiming that I haven't read the thread, something you can hardly know to be true or not, is a lazy way to excuse yourself from defending the drivel you spewed.

Another poster who has not read all of my opinons in this thread.

People have read your opinions in this thread.

Your opinion is baseless, worthless, illogical crap that no one agree's with.

You seem to not understand the difference between "hearing" and "agreeing". Everyone here is reading your opinion, its just that outside of one poster for the most part they're not agreeing, because its a ridiculously stupid opinion

Another poster who has not read my opinons in this thread.

I read your post and I've read your opinions. You sound like a disgruntled Liberal. Somebody who doesn't understand American politics at all. You seem to be under the impression that Obama is above petty criticism or simple insults. He isn't. He's as fair game to dishonest insults as everyone else. D.e.a.l. w.i.t.h. i.t.

Wrong again.

You have not read the thread. That much is clear.

And another poster who has failed to read the entirety of this thread makes another unjustified opinion.

I read the entire thread and think hiding behind racism and the oh so fearing 'N' word to deflect criticism of Obama is downright ridiculous.

I do not think you have.

Obama has been in office for 8 months.

Bush was in office for 9 months, and what happened?

If Obama allows a major terrorist attack that leads to two wars and an economy in recession, then I'll consider that he is doing a "terrible job" but the last president set the bar pretty low.

You're joking right. Have you ever actually done ANY research into this fact. IF you're going to blame any PRESIDENT on this, and frankly I think its a far to narrow minded view and causes far to little legitimate critical examining of the entire scope of things to just blame a President, one would have to blame Bill Clinton.

It was Clinton's white house, in particular Jamie Gerelick, that helped put the rules and laws in place that prevented our law enforcement from taking the proper steps to stop this in the first place.

As I said, its still HUGELY over simplifying manners to simply blame it on Clinton like some on the right would do...but if you're going to go out on the limb and blame a singular President the blame would have to fall more heavily upon Bill Clinton than GWB for the 9/11 attacks.

I do not think you have.

:doh

I have been posting all through the thread

So to make things clear.
People can attack Bush and it is fine, but with Obama it must be racism?

I do not think you have.

I've encountered this argument from you in another thread.

"Did you read the article?"

"Yes, I did."

"I don't believe you."

Your debate skills are... lacking....
