They use the "socilalist term because they don't want to be heard using the N12345678ER" word is one very plausible explanation. When Clintonius was in office they hated him also but we did not here the "socialist" word. Remember that The Shrub first did baleouts in Sept 2008 but we dod not hear "them" call him a "socilaist".

So what has changed ? Obama is in office. Obma is Black. They don't like Obama. They don't like Black Obamas so Black Obamas are "socialist".

Bush's unfair criticism came via "the stupid, monkey, chimp" thing.

Nevertheless, the principle is the same.

I stubbornly defended Bush when crazy left-wing nuttery accussed the White House of "orchestrating" 9/11.

And I will defend the White House once again from her detractors who serve no higher purpose than their own emotionally driven agenda.

and Obama caused Hurricane Bill but later he pushed Bill out over the ocean and made it go and hit the country my good neighbor calls "Cannuckistan ".

I just have to laugh at the new LOW standard being set here; calling a black person a "socialist" is the same as using the "N" word.

Obama is also much more liberal than either Clinton or Bush. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Using the "chimp": thing to make fun of The Shrub was not smart or nice and it should not have been done. The Shrub is not "stupid" he was just not inquisative, did not care to think for himself, and not very inquiring and did not care to to understand the world beyond Texas. He relied on Uncle Dick and the neocons to think for him. I would never call him stupid but he was intellectually lazy!!!

MLK really was a Marxist though. A great man, but a Marxist nonetheless.

So they didn't call him socialist as a replacement for the N-word, but rather because they wanted to find something bad to say about him.

Obama is not a Civil Rights leader, and therefore, unlike MLK, when people look for bad things to say about him, it can be assumed that it has to do with politics rather than race.
