Study: Global warming sparked by ancient farming methods - CNN.com
ATTENTION MODS this did not say "blog" anywhere if it is a blog that is a surprise to me
"Study: Global warming sparked by ancient farming methods"
Apparently ancient man may be the intial culpert in global warming via big " deforestation and burning " causing "permanent" alteration of Earth's climate. So sayeth researchers at the University of Virginia and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
This is a pet theory of Prof Ruddiman who said " starting thousands of years ago, people would burn down a forest ... " and so on and on
Ken Caldeira, scientist at the Carnegie Institution's Department of Global Ecology in Stanford, California, " disagree with Ruddiman. He said Ruddiman is "exaggerating the importance of early man."
I always believed that global warming is a combination of natural fluctuations of the earth in tilting, rotation, sun spots, sun radiation BUT also that man must have had an influence. The fact must be that the extremes from both sides are wrong. The Non Scientist but massive blowhard such as Limbough who claim without any fact that man had no impact is as wrong as the nameless leftwing tree hugger who blames it all on man.
What do you guys think of this latest theory about the bad ancient farmers who started the planet on it's "death path". I am joking - on the "death path".
