Political columnist Robert Novak dies at 78

Plame was about as much undercover as you are......:rofl

The CIA itself said she was. (look it up)

Bush's CIA, once again, says Valerie Plame was undercover

GENERAL HAYDEN AND THE CIA HAVE CLEARED THESE FOLLOWING COMMENTS FOR TODAY'S HEARING. During her employment at the CIA, Ms. Wilson was undercover. Her employment status with the CIA was classified information, prohibited from disclosure under Executive Order 12958. At the time of the publication of Robert Novak's column on July 14, 2003, Ms. Wilson's CIA employment status was covert.

let God be his judge, To me he was a very talented reporter/journalist. I usually did not agree with him but man could he keep his opponents of guard in his debates.

RIP,

Moe

It is you who needs to wake up and start thinking for yourself. Instead of following the party line as though you were a sheep. There cannot be a double standard of behavior, Novak betrayed his nation and I dont care if he was a conservative a liberal or an alien from mars he was a traitor and got the easy way out.

No comment eh? (Navy Pride doesn't have enough pride to admit he was wrong?)

novak revealed ms plame's identity not because she was an agent, not to damage her or her husband mr wilson who took cheap shots at the war novak OPPOSED

he revealed her identity cuz wilson wrongly claimed that mr cheney sent him to niger

cheney had never heard of wilson, that was the perplexing point

when wilson published his op ed in the nyt he spuriously represented his relationship with the veep as all pal-sy

THAT's what novak REPORTED

novak was FAR AHEAD of wilson in saying THERE WERE NO WMD's

the REASON the plame story ultimately went NOWHERE politically, ie, in the HISTORY BOOKS as of today, is---bottom line---cuz novak OPPOSED THE WAR

so did armitage

their MOTIVE was not what was made out

it didn't INCLUDE cheney

or rove

novak is a genghis con, NOT a neo con

when plame testified before waxman's cmte back in 2007, questioned by republican congressman davis about whether she was or was not covert, the best she could answer was, "i'm not a lawyer"

she was not covered by the act in question because, according to the prosecutor himself, fitzgerald, she worked overseas only in TEMPORARY capacity

to be covered, you had to be overseas LONG TERM sometime in the previous 5 years

this is why she herself, before congress, could NOT state she was covered by the IIPA

this is why fitzgerald could not himself OPINE that she was covert until 3 months AFTER the scooter libby VERDICT

until well AFTER the trial was OVER

libby was convicted on 3-6-07

fitzgerald first leaked to michael isikoff of newsweek his OPINION that she was covered on 5-29-07

Clueless one if you had spent any time here in DP you would know I belong to no party..........I follow the philosophy of Charles Krauthamer and Fred Barnes and my bible is the Weekly Standard.........

Navy perhaps then we misunderstand each other.

Not sure of that but the 2 guys I mentioned were big fans of Novak and they said so the day he died on FOX..........Don't know how you could like them and hate Novak but whatever.........
