First off, the only occasion I can think of off of the top of my head where the federal government attempted to involved itself in the end of life decisions of a private individual was when the Republicans did it with Terri Schiavo, the brain dead woman in Florida.

Yup, and you liberals won that battle... She was murdered just like you wanted.

But at least it was for a good reason... The husband was tired of visiting her.

It's just like abortion is with you all isn't it? You condone murder, as long as it serves as a solution to problems caused by irresponsible behaviour... and of course, for convienence... as was in the Terri Shivo case.

Hurray for the liberals!

Wait, you mean we can murder people who are already dead? So, are those archeologists to be tried for murder now?

Well that's exactly what you did, when you all won the right to pull her feeding tubes and starve her to death.

And you wonder why Sarah Palin is worried about how her son, as well as other children with Downs syndrome, will be treated with government run health care.
