Same with the global warming situation. Who decided it would be a good idea to have somebody that the conservatives hate introduce this concern? That all got nowhere fast!

To some this factual commentary up in a simple word or two, he could have actually chosen a BI-PARTISAN method instead of the PARTISAN cram it down their throats method.

the heller amendment (congressman dean heller, nevada) would have implemented e-verify to ensure that only citizens receive whatever expanded health care is being contemplated

I think most already know that controlling the theme, tone, and questioning at a politically motivated meeting is nothing new and has happened many times before at all levels etc.

What differs is how it is handled, and when things are so hot against the candidate or proposed changes etc that they can not be handled in the manner they were wanted to be handled.

Town hall meetings, Tea Parties, and countless others across the nation have been set up for a purpose, and normally or should I say often for the purpose of establishing or estimating public opinion, and supporting the agenda of one given person or party.

There are also those that by every bit of evidence available seem to be more of a public out cry (like what we saw at many of the recent rallies) where members of the general public with no political ties show their true emotion while making their statements and point etc. If you looked closely many if not most of the regular speakers were at least genuine.

I remember seeing how bad these "set up" meetings can become when Democrat Jon Corzine the then recently elected governor of NJ was holding meetings to discuss the newly proposed 800% increases in the many state toll roads (already some of the highest rates in the nation) which advertised a public questioning session to be included.

It became obvious that the plan was to plant the questions as it was all by invite only, and the state had the state police acting like SS in removing and even arresting anyone who did not cooperate with the plan. They removed people with signs outside the locations, arrested people who would not give up their signs or leave the premises, and even arrested member(s) of the opposing political party who were seeking entry and to exercise their right to protest as well.

So even if the current administration did not personally pick this questioner it is obvious that it did attempt to control the questions through other methods, and it would seem unusual (especially for this party judging its past) if they were not intending to create the entire theme of the meeting so that it ignored the public and only made them look good and increase their popularity and power.

Personally I was questioning that with all the public concern and out cry over the whole health care issue just what was the purpose of having such a young person with limited experience and knowledge on the subject take up time with such a useless question.

I guess if you had a purpose in seeing the point be made that people opposing the proposed plan oppose it strongly and are not afraid to be verbal about their feelings then I guess you may think the question had use or value, but unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last 8 months or so you already knew that, and did not need to hear it from kid.
