I believe that a lot of this "outrage" is orchestrated. The disruption is deliberate and not because it reflects the genuine dissatisfaction of the people, but because the authors of the disruption would like it to appear that way.
It's much easier to turn a town hall discussion on it's ear than it is to put together a march on Washington. But you have enough town hall meetings go south because some folks decide they are going to yell and scream and act like morons instead of intelligently addressing the issues they have...well that gets better airplay.
That's a clear description of the heart of the matter. Town hall meetings are designed to let people intelligently discuss matters at hand. They aren't supposed to be screamfests for the Jerry Springer or dittohead crowd.
