Palin says Obama's health care plan is 'evil'

Obama Death Panels? False. Is this the answer of some crazed Liberal? No, it is the answer from Georgia Republican Senator Johnny Issakson, who called Sarah Palin nuts. And, BTW, the end of life planning provision in the bill was a creation of Issakson, a REPUBLICAN.

Here is the interview.

Sheesh. My only question is this: When the hell are Republicans going to attack the real red meat, instead of just making stuff up, while handing their asses to the Democrats again in 2010?

"Here is the interview."

You are exactlly on target. Groups who promote this lie are corporate funded groups such as Sixty Plus. This is major scare campaign in the form of lies by the groups opposed to any health care financing reform.

No, I'm pretty sure it was meant in a literal sense. That's exactly what Palin was saying, and I don't see anywhere where you explained the nuances.

Do you care to explain how the government "death panel" is going to "force" abortions without actually "forcing" them?

The same way that Stalin forced abortions in the Ukraine.

Nobody believes me(except other liberals) when I say that republicans are screwing themselves hard this year.

With fingertip access to information at ones fingertips to easily fact check one would expect that in this day and age people would not be so rediculously stupid and gullible so as to buy into these flat out lies of "death panels".
Sadly facts don't matter to the right wing fringe. World net daily is still contesting that Obama is not an American citizen.
Who the hell cares what Palin says, she's nothing but the talking parrot of the right wing fringe.

My Way News - Palin says Obama's health care plan is 'evil'

I am glad to see Sarah Palin is speaking out and I have coma acrossed a video that tells the truth about Sarah Palin and why we should stand behind and support her. She has created such fear in the hearts and minds of Liberals it's a wonderful thing.

Pajamas TV

I think that you can replace Adolf Hitler with Srah Palin in this quote and we are right up to date. "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.--Adolf Hitler

If the democrats do not pass a strong health care reform bill through then it will be democrats that would be self screwing.

No matter what happens with health care, people are going to be pissed. That is a big part of why it needs to happen this year. No matter how good the plan, right wingers are going to hate it and do all they can to convince people it is bad. Democrats need to just live with the fact, ignore the republicans, and pass a worthwhile bill.

The Libbos are way more screwed with it, than they are without. It's just an observation, but how many more people are their up-n-arms against the bill compared to the number of people that were up-n-arms over the status quo. Common sense must prevail at some point.

The same way that Stalin forced abortions in the Ukraine.

Please do not use the souls of my ancestors for political purposes. What Russians and Stalin did in Ukraine was to murder 8 million Ukrainians through a created famine. While Russians and Stalin were nurdering Ukrainians via famine they (Russians and Stalin ) were selling grain on the world market.

This was execution by hunger not abortion.

Rightwinger nutsos are irrelevant. They're going to object to anything and everything simply because they hate this president and they hate liberals. We are unpatriotic terrorist appeasers afterall.
The problem is with democrats themselves in an attempt to "appease" these conservatives that will never ever in a quadrillion years ever support any democratic bill that has even the slightest bit of success.
Democrats need to grow some balls and push forth with actual reform in the manner of single payer plan.

I disagree with the bill because of the money that it's going to cost me.

Who's against the bill other than the right wing fanatics or those who are ignorant and just sheepishly move with the crowd?
As for those against the status quo?

That's a legitimate argument to be made. Now then the question is what is it going to cost you?

It was extermination. Extermination by forced abortion, gas chambers, famine, it's all the same.

$14,000+ annually and that's way too goddamn much in this economy.

Trust me, the Democrats aren't looking any better.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVjc9mopH58&feature=related"]YouTube - President Obama Does Not Know What's in the Health Care Bill He is Pushing[/ame]

Hilarious irony aside, the bill is over a thousand pages long. How in the world can you expect anyone to know what it contains, let alone what it doesn't contain?

The common American buys into a myth concerning health care and you attack them as fools, but Obama doesn't even know whether or not the bill allows for private insurance and we get nothing but lame excuses...

People shouldn't expect him to know what's in the whole bill, that's unrealistic!

No, no it's not. If the bill is too big to fully comprehend then it shouldn't be passed, period. This isn't some random appropriations bill, it's a fundamental change in health care policy. Nobody in the world is capable of understanding the full implications of this bill if passed, so there is no logical reason anyone could argue in favor of it. How do you know the following text isn’t in the bill:

Provision 73.

Section 143: Subsection 50: Addendum A: All persons using the moniker “jfuh” on any internet forum shall be actively denied access to health care.

Answer: You don’t.

The word "forcing" is not taken in the literal sense; but of course you know this and prefer to dwell in childish semantics; by denying the care, one is forced to alternatives.

Carry on. :2wave:

Perhaps you might want to re-think your wording when you post. Just saying.

The same way that Stalin forced abortions in the Ukraine.

More ridiculous fear talking points. The entire health care situation has some legitimate issues to debate. Why y'all choose to discuss irrelevant and untrue points is beyond me. Your fear tactics only fool the unintelligent.

Of course he is "not familiar with the provision" he was talking about, because it does not exist. The question was the bill would make "private medical insurance illegal..." which in fact does not exist...do you see that provision?

(b) Grace Period for Current Employment-based Health Plans-

(1) GRACE PERIOD-

(A) IN GENERAL- The Commissioner shall establish a grace period whereby, for plan years beginning after the end of the 5-year period beginning with Y1, an employment-based health plan in operation as of the day before the first day of Y1 must meet the same requirements as apply to a qualified health benefits plan under section 101, including the essential benefit package requirement under section 121.

(iii) Such other limited benefits as the Commissioner may specify.

In no case shall an employment-based health plan in which the coverage consists only of one or more of the coverage or benefits described in clauses (i) through (iii) be treated as acceptable coverage under this division

(2) TRANSITIONAL TREATMENT AS ACCEPTABLE COVERAGE- During the grace period specified in paragraph (1)(A), an employment-based health plan that is described in such paragraph shall be treated as acceptable coverage under this division.

(c) Limitation on Individual Health Insurance Coverage-

(2) SEPARATE, EXCEPTED COVERAGE PERMITTED- Excepted benefits (as defined in section 2791(c) of the Public Health Service Act) are not included within the definition of health insurance coverage. Nothing in paragraph (1) shall prevent the offering, other than through the Health Insurance Exchange, of excepted benefits so long as it is offered and priced separately from health insurance coverage.

I find this post offensive, and grossly vulgar even for a Liberal and I can not understand why it is allowed to remain up.

If it is removed, please remove this post with it.
