You had to see it coming though, government scope creep being what it is.

I'm too lazy to find it just now, but I would bet just about anything Obama spoke out against the PATRIOT Act. Now that he's actually in a position to do something about it, he has his minions working on semantics. Yet another reason one would think Obama voters would be upset with him, but as yet, seems like not much has been said.

God please please please PLEASE do not overturn the entire Patriot Act. I beg you. But god, if I continue down that path I'll derail the entire thread. If someone would like to have yet another discussion about the Patriot Act I'd love for someone to start it up ;)

I am still trying to figure out how drying out my allergies is related to terrorism..... :confused: again WTF?

I like most of it as it applies to foreign nationals... But sudaphed? wtf? :lol:

Trust me, my last two years at the University was primarily focused on the PA along with my senior thesis being specifically on it. If you'd like to start up a thread about my thoughts on it I'll happy to go for round 5 or 6 on this board (I love having an opinion on something that seems to make libertarians, republicans, and democrats all yell at me). But figure its best not to derail this thread cause once I get talking on Patriot I'm liable to drone on for a while.
