U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bill C

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Regardless of what you think of William Clinton, you have to admit, he did a good job here.
Did he actually do anything, or were they pardoned simply because Obama agreed to let him go to NK?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

It's the Democrats that proclaimed their Rapist and Perjurer was the First Black President, take it up with them. You're not suggesting the Democrats uttered perfectly ridiculous statements for the simple expediency of keeping their blacks on the plantation when the Rapist was impeached, are you?

Well, too bad, I'm reminding you of it right now.

:rofl:rofl:rofl

Please tell me when Clinton raped someone. Please show proof of this. Unlike the David Letterman-Sarah Palin incident you can't even feign ignorance over "statutory rape" in this situation. At least he didn't rape little children like George W Bush did (see how our claims have equal validity?).

Wonderful!

It looks like these two single, attractive,
greatful young women will be flying
back alone with Bill Clint-- OMG!

Well, they were sentenced to "hard" labor....

I disagree that we women wouldn't have been negotiated for if it hadn't been for them working for Al Gore. It became a big international issue, why wouldn't we try to get them back? There's no evidence that Gore pulled any strings.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

If you gullible jokers believe that the Dear Leader gave up the goods because of the visit Bill Clinton bestowed upon him I have a bridge for sale.

Again, those two journalists better thank their lucky starts they worked for Al Gore because if it would have been anyone else, they would have spent 12 years in prison rotting.

Wow. I can tell you're going to add a lot of substance on this message board. Sigh. Another elementary-school-like poster put on ignore.

I am so happy that Bill Clinton made this happen! Woo hoo!

Like I said that if you are gullible enough to believe that Al Gore didn't pulled strings and that a ransom of some kind wasn't paid, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Do you have any sort of evidence that there was a ransom or that Gore pulled strings, or are you just speculating?

Are you also happy the N. Koreans got nukes because of Bill Clinton too?

No...but I also know that I wasn't really a gift from God and that Daddy and Mommy must have done the nasty but I have no evidence of it.

vulgarisms aside, all you have is speculation. Speculation is no proof that anything happened. Since you have no proof anything happened, why don't you explain your reasoning, then.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

all's well that ends well?

we have no idea what mr clinton gave up to get the girls out

but if you think kim released them gratis, out of the kindness of his hard little heart, you're being awfully naive, seems to me

Quit being redundant and needlessly wasting valuable bandwidth, I already explained it. Indeed, read my previous post.

Just the attention of the visit itself was probably enough. But even if we did give something up, so what?

Sorry to seem "naive" but do you have any proof of your....idea? It's just as likely that Kim Jung Il did this as a political action to lend more credence to his word when it comes to matters at the negotiation table. Thats probably all he will really achieve out of this. Read the article at the beginning of this thread, it'll help you out.

You don't think every thug country in the world is watching the USA paying ransom? Damn, you may be even more naive than I originally first thought!

First, stop the personal attack. Second, what would you propose we do? We're not exactly at a place to invade NK right now, and even if we did, I suspect they're held in a pretty secure place, wherever it is. Our only options here are invade (which would doom Seoul), send in a strike team (as if we even know where to look), or negotiate. I don't exactly see a lot of options here, unless you know something I don't.

Again, I doubt we paid any ransom more than sending Bill over, but if we did, so it goes. Better than those poor girls rotting away.
