W.H. makes CEOs pay for lunch

Yeah. I learned it after celticlord pointed it to me out a few posts back. Are you repeating it for a reason?
He probably just enjoys picking on you....

It's always a bit of fun to twist the knife a little deeper into the ignorant guy (in this case, me).
Oh snap, he's catching on.....

BWG, you blew it!

Lol

I have no issue with taxpayer picking up the tab as manners demand.

My dislike of CEO's overrules my love of etiquette in this instance tho

It's a symptom class warfare IMO. But most of all it's just tacky from a tacky president tacky enough to give a blockbuster gift card* to GB's prime minister.

(I know it was some stupid dvds, but a blockbuster gift card sonds funnier)

Lol, i happen to agree

It wasn't even decent movies *tuts*

I would feel entitled to a few plates of the Lincoln china if I had to pay. And the royal salt shakers. ;)

What part of treating guests with respect eludes you? Why does the lunatic left insist on making a virtue out of boorishness?

They weren't there for a social visit, they were there for a business conference.

Manners are, if anything, more important in business than they are in social occasions.

I have won projects because my competition was rude. I have lost out on projects because of the occasional faux pas.

Just because the discussion was commerce and not the sorry state of the Washington Nationals does not render basic etiquette irrelevant.

That sucks,I want to know what was served and what they were charged.

dead fried chicken, braized green in bacon fat, corn bread, and sweat potato pie. When Danforth Quayle comes to luch that will be sweat potatoe piy...

Do you charge your well-heeled guests when you invite them over for lunch or tea or whatever?

Basic manners is beyond them. They are not from Texas where manners is practical and taught at an early age. Practical because many of us have guns and are good at their application.
