Iranian police shut down memorial

Article said:
Iranian police forced opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi and hundreds of mourners to leave a cemetery in Tehran on Thursday where they were holding a memorial for the victims of post-election violence.

Mousavi was trying to reach the graveside of Neda Agha Soltan, who was shot to death during protests on June 20.

Thursday marked the end of the 40-day mourning period for the woman whose dying moments were caught on video, becoming one of the iconic images of the upheaval and focusing worldwide attention on the unrest.

Hundreds of police surrounded Mousavi and forced him to leave Behesht-e Zahra cemetery on Tehran's southern outskirts. Police did not forcibly break up hundreds of others, some whom were chanting Mousavi's name and "death to the dictator."

What a crying shame... and to think, the party line was that Iraq was invaded for humanitarian reasons.

I think we should unleash Yisrael Beiteinu on them.

So you think we should invade?

I just think that if the alleged humanitarian reasons for invading Iraq were so pre-eminant, that its neighbour was probably just as bad. Now that the budget has been spent on two words, a new nuclear power is on the rise and it's one who has no respect for human life... Saddam was a pale shadow compared to what this regime dreams of doing.
