Drug czar: Feds won't support legalized pot

They drug test engineers? Are they afraid you're going to get high and start designing weird things or something?

That **** amuses me sometimes. I mean, I can appreciate the desire for a drug-free workplace, but seriously ...
No, the government wants to know they can trust people who have the potential to view sensitive information. So any drug use is an issue because of foreign espionage susceptibility.

Overall its not worth losing potential promotions or future projects because some idiot behind a desk in the government thinks I may sell the country out for some brownies.

And that's where I'm at. I'll retire one day soon, and maybe then I'll give it a try. I've seen that they put it in all kinds of food. I just wonder if the buzz is as good as I wouldn't ever smoke it.

One engineers folly may be 100's of peoples deaths. Especially if they somehow **** up a design or **** up an inspection on a giant reactor in a refinery or something.
Most problems are caught. But let's put it this way. I know engineers who help design planes and they don't like to fly in them. Likewise I know helicopter engineers and they wouldn't be caught dead in one. Then again, us engineers are paranoid bastards.

Apparently its similiar. One of my friends tried it and his high didn't go away for some absurdly long amount of time (I don't remember the specifics). It ruined his experience so he hasn't ever used it since; smoking or eating.

Bud brownies give you more of a body-high as opposed to a mental-high which is characteristic of smoking or vaporizing.

Kinda off topic, kinda not:

IMHO, Edibles are the way to go. In Sherman Oaks (near Hollywood) there is a dispensary that has hash based caramel coated almonds, dipped in cannabis based chocolate. They cost 3 bucks a piece, and have an amazing attribute: you will fall asleep if you eat too many. You cannot OD, trust me i've tried. 100% sativa to preserve that mental, energetic high.

Although i would never in my life recommend this to the casual user.
