Poll: Public losing trust in President Obama

It only took 6 months for the Liberals to activate their brain cells...I'm impressed.:)

Doesn't he still have like 59% approval? Did you expect it to stay in the stratosphere permanently? The rest of us didn't. Or maybe you've just been looking forward to the day his rating slipped so you could say "See, Obama is a failure". Enjoy your moment.

I did. Who cares? However many it is, it doesnt matter.

Yes it does matter. Because if it's a number close to zero then your below reasoning is inaccurate since those people wouldn't actually be getting the $9k you say they would be.

Rather than have the federal medicare/medicaide programs, take the total amount paid and give to each individual. This will give a family of 4 over $9000/year, and they can take care of their own health care.

So, if the question had been:

"Have you lost your psychophantic love of Obama yet?"

You would have answered:

"I haven't lost my psychophantic love..."

Makes perfect sense.

Is that the only negative option? What about, "I have never had psychophantic love of Obama"?

Did you REALLY just bring up Palin.... Again?

He may be dissapointed if Palin runs in 2012. I heard a poll yesterday that had voters at 48% voting for Obama and Palin at 42% and gaining.

42% of Americans would vote for Sarah Palin for president?? I don't believe it.

Are you kidding? He'd blow his load every minute, just think, if his constant bringing up of palin was ACTUALLY relevant!

How can you possibly make fun of Palin on one hand, and try to present Nancy Pelosi as a serious "thinker" on the other. Palin is Americana; Pelosi is that drunk aunt with lipstick running down her chin that no one wants at the picnic.

I'm not a Palin supporter per se, but I find it incredibly funny how liberals and the media love to trash her. Their abject fear of this Alaskan governer/mother of a Down's Syndrome child is so telling. They're trying to constantly laugh her off as some joke, which speaks volumes to the level of connection they see her making with people, particularly that soccer mom group that is so critical to their voting bloc.

It's not the being against, but the hope that the President will fail. If he fails, then one is essentially hoping for bad times in America.

What a fascinating yet farcical analogy there, that if Obama fails it will be bad times. However, if Obama fails, the reality is that it would portend better times; no more outrageously irresponsible deficit spending, no universal healthcare which will make the best health care in the world mediocre like everyone else’s, no cap and trade which will destroy manufacturing in this country and less pork filled legislation that panders to the ignorant.

The notion that Obama's failure would be bad can only be held by adoring supporters who don't give a rat's buttocks about the countries future economic viability and who desperately wish to become dependent wards of the state.

But you wanted us to vote for Sarah Palin??
big_bat.gif

No, you would have been voting for McCain. But alas, you must have voted for Biden, the second dumbest man in America next to Al Gore.

Carry on. :beam:

Yeah riiiight! That's why you salivated and drooled over every power grab of GWB's and why you so heartily support the right-wings big brother social agenda:doh

Another farcical blather of nonsesnical Librul bile; I would ask you what power rab GWB made you are referring to that even compares to power grab Librul Democrats are making right now, but I would get another silly nonsensical pile of Librul bile like the above.

Carry on.

Palin is not trashed enough, considering the outrageous assumptions she makes regarding her qualifications for the presidency. She is obviously a bimbo, and incapable of realizing her own incompetence.

Gotta love the sexist bigotry in Will's post...

What assumptions? Quote and link.

No one accused G.W. Bush of attempting a right-wing, executive coup to become dictator when he grabbed as much power for the executive as possible.

Apparently you had your Librul blinders on. Type the words George Bush in a google search and you will be blathered with this kind of nonsensical Leftist Librul bile.

The notion that GWB grabbed as much power for the Executive is more of the same left leaning garbage that was spewed for 8 years.

Please list Obama's qualifications. The man has never accomplished a thing in his pathetic life.

What has Obama done to be rated so badly thus far, then? I'm geuinly curious how you can rate ANY president, Republican or Democrat, when he hasn't even finished a quarter of his term. Most of the legislation enacted won't be shown as effective or ineffective for many months yet.

The question should be what HASN'T he done to be rated badly.

The nation has been mortgaged by a $1.8 trillion deficit with no debate about how they are going to pay for it for starters.

Now, with a $1.8 trillion deficit, he wants to get legislation speed tracked through congress for Universal healthcare that will spend trillions more without an honest debate about how they will pay for it.

He wants cap and trade which will devastate manufacturing in this country.

We are currently spending $100 million per day on interest on the debt and this is before we factor in the Obama factor of the current deficit.

What else does ANYONE need to comprehend why this is the worst President in the history of this great nation and whom will probably make the Carter years look like a cake walk.

But hey, you can still blame Bush for all this right?

This speaks volumes for those on the Librul left who consider themselves to be intellectually superior to everyone else and who wallow in their self proclaimed tolerance.

The irony here is that you voted for Obama who admitted he did not have the resume to be President (too bad he didn't heed his own advice) and Biden, one of the dumbest men in America who just can't seem to help himself when he puts his foot in his mouth every time he opens it.

The fascinating thing is that you don't see your reflection when you make such hyperbolic nonsensical comments.

He mesmerized enough of the weak-minded into joining his cult to get elected President of the US. ;)

.

Sure they would, as the $9k received isn't dependent on the amout any one person paid in, but the total amount paid in divided by the total number of people.

No matter what they paid, a family of 4 gets $9k.

If that's so, why are so so afraid of her?

Not true -- he got 2 books published!!

Of course, if that's what passes for qualification to be President, then Limbaugh is qualified as well.

So it's OK to distribute wealth in that way but not OK to give health care in place of a $9k check?

He was voted into office by the citizens of America. That is the only real qualification required for someone to be President.

If the $ has to be spent, its better to give it to the people themselves and let them chose what to do with it.

Couple that with the elimination of all third-party payment entities (which will drive health care costs down while driving up quality of care), and everyone will be in pretty good shape.

Let me see if I understand correctly. Instead of providing health care to those that qualify for Medicare/Medicaid you are saying just cut them an annual check for $9k and let them do with it what they want, but hope they use it on health care. So if they don't use it on health care, which many won't, the tax payers will then be incurring additional costs when these individuals go to the hospital without health care and unable to pay their bills since they have no money and spend the $9k on other things.
