I'm not sure how many different ways I have to explain it to you before you get it. I don't care that it's not a court case; the onus is always on the state because the alternative to that is tyranny. I don't want to live in a country where the police are correct until they can be proven wrong.
Nowhere did I say that cops are infallible and should always be believed. Nowhere did I say that cops should be correct until they are proven wrong. I'm talking about the incident itself. Spare me the bull**** crap about innocent until proven guilty. You aren't the legal system and are capable of having an opinion about the incident and siding with one side more than the other. I'm asking you specifically why you side with Gates when, as you say, the cop is no more or less credible than anyone else. Do you get it now? :doh
