Legislative power has slowly been sucked out of Parliament and into Brussels over the past decade since Labour has been in power.
Legislation passed in brussels by unelected people and if elected, not those who represent us isn't even debated by our parliamentaries, our elected representatives but goes immediately onto the books. Its embarassing. You have no idea how good you have it in US. No matter how much Obama screws up, at least congress gets a say and debates on bills. We don't even get that over here. Bills can be forced through against the will of the people at a whim.

Sounds to me like a good reason to take up arms against the state. Or stop voting Labour.

I'm not voting Labour and Gun are banned inside UK. Labour restricted it

And to be fair, there was no decent opposition to Labour. Conservatives were in a state of internal civil war

Your side do some wonderful debates on gun tho, i enjoy them alot and learn alot

You should have seen me when i first joined, what a commie i was that hated guns and was so certain they were the cause. Now i'd give anything to have the ability to protect myself from the nut we call a Govt.

Most of us dont. They only got 35% of the vote last time. Which is what you get when you have 3 fairly big partys running in a 2 party system.
