Islamic Supremacist Group Holds First U.S. Conference

Re: "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" conference in Chicago

In other news a conference on The Fall of Islam and the Rise of Capitalism, was raided in Downtown Tehran today, and all participants were summarily executed.

Re: "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" conference in Chicago

Islamic Supremacist? What exactly is there to feel superior about?

Re: "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" conference in Chicago

So who did the Messiah send as his emissary and worshipful applicant to this conferencee?

Re: "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" conference in Chicago

One is amused by the sweeping generalisation that muslims are all bomb-wielding jihadists. ALLAH AKBAR!

Agreed. Scare tactics only work on the naive.

It is only the naive who discount the threat from Islam.

Statistically, 20% - 30% of all Muslims believe in Islamic superiority and/or Islamism and these groups are the leaders of the Islamic communities.

The PBS show, "The Mosque in Morgantown" shows that the peaceful, modern Muslims have to yield to the Islamist oriented Muslims.

Define Islamic superiority. Hell, what is it?

Re: "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam" conference in Chicago

That leaves a super-massive 70% - 80% that doesn't.

But maybe that's a genius plot by the Islamists to make us THINK they aren't planning on taking our liberty!

The Mosque in Morgantown

If you asked all Christians, I think you would get at least 20-30% that believed in Christian superiority.

Generalizing all the people in a religion and calling them all the enemy is unbelievably naive. I don't generalize Protestantism based on the Evangelical movement... so why should I judge all of Islam based on the extremists of the religion?

This is not a war against Islam, this is a war against Militant Islam... There is a stark difference. If you don't understand that, then you don't understand the War on Terror itself.

Islam is the highest religion and must eventually rule mankind.

I readily acknowledge the majority pose no threat.

But how can you discount the threat of 25% of a people who are actively wishing or working for the downfall of our system???

If God wanted a world with one religion. He would have done that but he did not. We are diverse for a reason.

Is US so worried about their democratic system that they fear its downfall? Is it that weak? Would Americans not fight for liberty or would they willingly allow a minority of Islamists take away their country?
What does that say about your trust in the American people?

Democracy collapses only if you let it.

I understand the difference. As I said in the post above, most Muslims pose no threat to the US.

I dunno it's way easier to presume that God doesn't exist than that he has some hidden reason.

Yes it is.
Probably less trouble and stress free to not believe in God than it is to do so. Worrying about your actions is kinda tiring after a while.

Especially the dress-wearing prophets of rage.
Hell would freeze before I'll be scared from those.

Laila, I was one of the first posters here to recognize your Islamic beauty but your golden attitude and temperament would not be able to contain nor control the Islamist. The Islamist who believes in only Islam as the highest religion.

I dunno, knowing that there is no after-life, it kinda makes you worry more.

Does it?
Not really, you can't top a session in Mosque every week where pain and judgement day is the topic of conversation. Really puts you off dinner and makes you have a 45min stint of "deep thinking" about your life and actions, swear you'll change it and then by the next day forget all about it

Then it seems you've changed your position. It was pretty clear before that you were agreeing with the thread, which was insinuating that all of Islam is the enemy.

Democracy collapses only if you let it.

And by failing to recognize the threat we are letting it.
