In a Washington Post OP ED article Sarah Palin made news today when she wrote the articel and is now against CAP and Trade, see article

Well during the campaign debate Palin said "I do" more times than than Liz TaloR when PALIN was asked if she agrees with Sen McCCAINS position on AP & Trade.

But that was then and now is now and now she is a quiter and the quiter quit supporting CAP & Trade. So Palin is not only a quiter she is a flip flopper.

So some people but not I may ask if was Palin a political whore during her failed campaign when she was for C&P. Others,not I will ask if she is a political whore now that she is against C&P. I will say that she was just a flip flopping opportunist not a whore that would not be nice.

Wow that beats Kerry when he was against the Iraq war before he was for it.

So what do you DPer's think is she a flipper or a flopper?

She's basically campaigning and trying to protect big oil. Typical Republican.
 
When you use your brain to make sense and get it right when it comes to the damage to the economy Obama has planned and announced himself to come from this "cap and trade" nonsense, is not defending big oil.
There are things that can be done to mitigate environmental issues promote alternative fuels and energy sources without costing an arm and a leg and without the use of fear tactics. It's not rocket science and the technology is for the most part off the shelf and ready to go. The problem is the environmental issues are not the real reason for all the fear tactics and taxes.

As for what Sarah Palin said the only thing she left out was the following. But it just came out. "We now believe that the CO2 did not cause all the warming, that there were additional factors," said Richard Zeebe, an oceanographer with the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Sarah Palin makes Obama look like the Amateur he continues to show us that he is.
Even a dumb old politician has figured out the danger of "Crap on Trade, Jobs and the Economy, while driving up prices on everything plan".

Nov 2, 2008 ... San Francisco Chronicle interview: Obama said: "Under My Plan...Electricity Rates Would Necessarily Skyrocket"
Sadly this is the only thing he hasn't lied about so far.

Recession is when your neighbor loses their job.
Depression is when you lose your Job.
Recovery is when Obama loses his job.

She did what just about every politician did when they are placed on the VP ticket, they take on some of the politics of the Prez-candidate because he's the top ticket guy.

Seriously, we should impeach Obama because Biden's opinions on the Iraq War changed from when he was running for Prez and when he became VP thus making him a dispicable untrustworthy person that shows the lack of intelligence Obama has by even picking him, so impeach him now. :roll:

I was being sarcastic ;) Basically, VP's soften or change their position on things during campaigns to be more in line with the top of the ticket routinely.

Big oil employs hundreds of thousands of Americans. What's wrong with protecting all those jobs? Until the anti-oil folks come up with a plan--a real plan--to replace those jobs, they should stop attacking the oil companies.

Thank you for admitting that she is no diferent than any pol therefore I will also conclude that she must not be a "maverick".Y ou say "She did what just about every politician did when they are placed on the VP ticket" but I recall that the GOPPER parade crucified Joe Lieberman when Joe the Joe made his positions sound more similar to The Gore. Does your explaination apply to pols from both sides of the aisle ?

Am I singing praises to or of BO ? I have said it a milliion times the Girl and her fans claim that she is a reformer yet she abused her power, used stae money for political trips, claimed to have said she was against the bridge too far but took the money for it, and on and on. A reformer reforms and does not abuse power. If you are gainst government spending for useless projest then you should nit ake the money for the project that you are aginst. If you are a new bright light in politcal behavior you do not take per diem and or payment or your family to travel on a political junket.

If you are a reformer you do not act immorally just because there is no law to cover your immoral act. Many immoral behaviors are not covered by law.

Whenever a politician claims to be a reformer and a maverick but behaves like all the others I will call them a phoney baloney. Whenever a politician or his/her appoloits claim that it's ok since others before hem did the same thing I will call them a phoney baloney.
