Palin says she's not leaving politics

And on today's episode of "what one can possibly pull out of ones ass!" :2razz::lol:

Have you ever read a demographic breakdown of election results?

In pretty much every study, the higher your education level, the more likely you are to vote Democratic.

In a caveat to the original statement though...the only county in the entire New England area that went for McCain is one of those uneducated counties north of Portland (Piscataquis):

[ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piscataquis_County]Piscataquis County, Maine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

With this, I agree wholeheartedly. I think the GOP sold out its roots when it was taken over by the religious-right and has thus abandoned actual conservatism. I'm not so sure that Palin is of that conservative cloth either. All we really have to judge that on in are her activities as governor which didn't even last a full term before she quit. I would rather the GOP look elsewhere, there's conservatives out there with less baggage who could probably do just as good, if not better, job as Palin. Instead of focusing on this wishywashy candidate, I think effort would best be spent looking for a candidate who could truly bring back all the lost Republican voters by returning to actual conservative politics.

What they essentially did was become the complete opposite of what they very wrongly state they are. They are big government across the board. And it's consistent. They borrowed and spent trillions we didn't have, they love having government tell you what you can and cannot do (regardless of whether anyone else's rights are being violated), they fully support the Nanny State in its entirety, and then W added additional spying programs to make the government bigger yet. Well done. They've become the total opposite of what they aimed to be. Morons.

Yes. But, I bet it still doesn't mean **** to you.

It would be nice if you could explain what in the hell you are talking about. Please feel free to spell out, in detail, your justification for stating that both my boyfriend and I aren't patriots.

I'm dying to read it.

How about you go ahead and post those numbers. I would LOVE to see'em.

Yet another excellent post. This is exactly what the Republican party could do to woo back voters like me.

I have oft referred to the new GOP as big government statists, as that's what they are. There is little difference between the Republicans and Democrats currently, which is why I often refer to them as the Republocrats.

Funny, you make a claim, then your proof is an irrellevant anecdotal of dubious honesty....

Whew....thank god it wasn't the lightbulb episode again!

*cough*

Too far?

Never too far.

Although, the zucchini and hamster episodes were great, the lightbulb one, as well as the power outlet episode, were my favorites.

It would be nice if you could explain what in the hell you are talking about. Please feel free to spit out in words how I'm not a patriot, and he isn't either.

I enver said you weren't a pariot. I said you were fair weather patriot. It means, that when things don't go your way, you're ready to sell out.

The only difference is that the GOP is hypocritical on the issue. If you elect a socialist and get big government you can't be surprised. You can still complain, of course, but in any event they didn't lie to you. Unlike the GOP, which still has people here in Dixie fooled. Of course we have terrible schools, so it may start there.

Proof? Do you equate patriotism with membership in the Republican party?

I'd really like you to explain this further, because frankly, watching you pull this sh*T out of your ass is quite amusing.

I never said that membership in the Republican party equates to patriotism.

How about you explain why your vote is more important than mine is? Can't wait to hear this one.

Then, on what basis do you determine that I am a "fair weather patriot"? As much as I wanted to like Sarah Palin, and in fact defended her when her candidacy was first announced, I found her to be intellectually incurious and unqualified for the job.

Would a "real" patriot vote for someone who is egregeiously under qualified for office?

Your comments here are so bizarre that I can only assume that you have no concept of the meaning of the term patriot.

Did I make this statement? If so, please feel free to point me to it, with a link. If I didn't make this statement, I don't really feel a need to respond to the crazy that you pull out of your head.

Here ya go

The problem is that conservatives have NEVER been able to win an election without moderate voters. You need me, and people like me, far more than we need you.

You're saying that my vote is less important than your's.

You should consider buying some books, and then reading them.

I stated that the Republican party does not have sufficient voters, on it's lonesome, to get the majority needed to win an election.

This is a simple statement of fact. The Republican party MUST woo undecided, moderate, and libertarian voters in order to win elections.

IF they do not, they lose.

Your reading skills are subpar. That's your interpretation of what I said, and it remains inaccurate. If that's all you've got, I'm going to say definitively that you can take your fair weather patriot comments, and put them where you normally put the gerbils.

xox.

Which is why Palin is dead in the water. She does energize a large portion of the GOP base (the dumber ones in particular). And those people, in large part, decide who the party will nominate for President. Actually, it's shocking that so few people decide that stuff in America. In any event, the GOP base cannot win any Presidential election for any candidate. The base of both parties chooses the candidates (sadly), but those votes totally offset one another in the general election. They need me and you to win. And we'll never vote for Palin. The Democrats know that. She is their total wet dream in 2012. It's like the GOP wants Obama to win.

When Obama comes on his wife's tits tonight, he'll be thinking about Sarah Palin.
