Palin says she's not leaving politics

I don't think GWB can run again can he?:monkeyarm

Obama is such a terrible President that I feel a sense of nostalgia for Bush. AT LEAST Bush had a back bone.

Nope, but I wish I had. I wish all of us libertarian and independent conservatives would have thrown our support behind McCain. He's wasn't an ideal candidate but compared to Obama he's god-damn Thomas Jefferson.

I am beginning to feel that way myself.... I did not vote mccain on principle, I think we got something much worse than we could have imagined.

I realize she had legitimate reasons for quitting. I'm just saying that many won't see it that way and will use it as ammo. It will do a significant amount of damage because many (on both sides of the political spectrum) aren't willing to look at it as logically as you are. Republicans do need to back her up, but I don't think they will because she's too much of a risk to them. They want a victory and will most likely go for what they consider to be a sure thing. Many Republicans see her as a liability.

But.....they don't have that much to pick from.

Eh, they both have more flaws than I care for in someone who is running our country. The only thing I like about Obama is that he can formulate a complete and intelligent sentence. I don't miss that from the Bush days...

No, the teleprompter can. Without it, he bumbles along a lot like Bush did.

Sarah Palin isn't going anywhere.

Love her or hate her, the fact is she has impacted society in ways most politicians can only dream of.

For reasons most people can not comprehend Palin sticks with you. I mean take a look at the evidence, even old presidents don't stir up the critique, discussion and commentary Palin does when they open their mouths. Regardless, if people agree or disagree with her they talk when she talks.

Just yesterday I came across this post, Palin artwork roundup | James Maybe... people are still intrigued, inspired and interested in what Palin, says, thinks, does, plans and even what she wears. The woman has political and societal power that is unprecedented.

Whatever the outcome, where ever her career takes her, Palin is around for the long haul.

Good for her!
Love her or Hate her she has the reins now.

One of the only real faces in US politics that people can believe..hopefully even if she isn't personally propelled to President or whatnot..she will help set a tone that will change US politics from the hate based politics of Obama to the politics of 30 years ago .

Absolutely. You guys in the GOP should nominate her as your candidate in 2012.....She is your only hope!

WASHINGTON — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she's not only staying involved in national politics, but she plans to jump back into the national scrum when she leaves office at the end of the month.

Good. Very good.
