Wattsburg, Pa. — Vice President Joe Biden visited a small town on the outskirts of Erie today to talk to rural folks about federal stimulus money that can be used to expand broadband access to the Internet for rural areas that typically have poor connections.
Apparently stimulus money and broadband are not all that interesting to the local folk here: Only around 100 or so people have showed up so far to hear Biden talk at noon at Seneca High School off Route 8 in Wattsburg.
The room looked so sparse that about 30 or so chairs were removed by volunteers to give the illusion of a full house.

You know I think this is a blessing to the Obama administration. Seeing as Biden has no public speaking skills, and when he does talk he usually starts a controversy and magically disappears until everyone forgets or Barry comes out and multiplies bread and fish so that the worshipers are happy. So if no one shows up to a Biden speech it is just less work for Barry to do.
 
What did the volunteers do to give the illusion that Biden's elevator reached the Penthouse?
 
Was Biden not supposed to be their big gun on foreign policy?

Where was he on the "dirty knees" international tour?

He should know better.

I guess they sent him to BFE in hopes that cameras and recorders were not near him for one of his big foot in mouth episodes.

They probably could have established broadband in the area for the cost of sending him there.

It DOES remind me of the GOP tour....except that Biden drew about the same number as the whole lot of them....and they are supposed to be the big hope for the GOP in 2012:lol:

Since when does the vice president have to draw a crowd at a high school....is he supposed to compete with the Jonas Brothers?

I agree. The only reason he was included was because of his supposed foreign policy skills. Well, since he got into the high school I have neither seen nor heard about his skills. I honestly do not think he does anything all day.
