It is about time for this mess to end.

Re: BREAKING: Minnesota's highest court rules for Al Franken

I think a lot of people are prematurely judging Franken. His abilities as a Senator remain to be seen. He may be an idiotic choice to some for various reasons, but he is ultimately the choice of the people and their decision should be respected as should the Democratic process.

Technically their votes were nullified and a judge flat out awarded the seat.

True enough, however when you start picking up votes in unbalanced ways it strikes some people as odd. The votes were recounted from a over 1800 point lead. It took 986 votes before one vote was finally found for Coleman. Also there was a massive issues in heavily liberal areas there were more votes then there were voters. MASS has lost their title of being a state with fair and honest elections.

There's nothing unbalanced about it Becky. Coleman challenged many more of Franken's votes than Franken challenged of Coleman's. Its mere statistics. No the votes were canvassed first as they usually are after an election to see if the vote totals are in order. Then because of the count being less than half a percent an automatic recount kicked in before that point coleman had a statistical tie. With the recount Coleman lost his lead. Coleman would have been better off not calling for votes to be counted because as more votes were counted the more he came out net negative. Can you tell me where there were more votes than voters in "heavy liberal areas"? Official source please? Minnesota has one of the most fair and honest elections in the country.
