Switchblade law opponents cut in Hill fight

You already proved my point with your assertion that joe citizen in this country shouldn't have more firepower than the police.
I'm still wading through your posts (sure are a lot of them) for the thread of which the title eludes me.. that you were backing up your stances on why citizens shouldn't own "assault rifles"... I believe it's one where you got smacked down by Goshin or another about the actual definition of an assault rifle.. then you went on about how hunters don't need them.. blah blah blah.. Much like you're doing right now.

Gee.

btw, I don't care about Mexico.. I live in the United States.

again you lie, Do I need to report you again? what I said was we should never let the stupid be better armed than the average policeman.

Are you saying that all joe citizens are stupid? or just you? :2razz:
I don't remember Goshin, perhaps you should contact him to help you find what you think I said....if you cannot find it, an apology is in order...

Are you seriously reporting people because you feel they are lying?:lol:

I'm not sure how I feel about this. :p

I'm torn between laughing uncontrollably and... hanging my head in shame.

There is no logic behind disarming law abiding citizens of this country.
Last time I checked police were rocking out M4s/M16s/MP5s and had much better equipment than the average citizen.

At this very moment in time, you're proving my point about you being liberal in your gun grabbing ideals. Which only solidifies my stance on your question about why jerry actually "needs" a knife.

and I said that where?

you should hang your head in shame, for not being able to back up your claim.....

I suppose if you and Rev. Hellhound (on my ignore list) were lied about, you both would not take offense?
Do you think rules are for others, not for you? so paranoid and a sociopath?

 Ignore lists are funny things. I fing that most posters who whine about others and use ignore lists, "peak" from time to time.... (read all the time)

Its a funny thing. I don't need an ignore list to not give this guy the time of day. I am actually suprised I am on his supposed "ignore list"...... I rarely spoke to this character much as his posts bore me.......

The fact that he had to mention his supposed "ignore list" and my being on it demonstrates this "peaking phenomenon" clearly....

He shouldn't lie like that, it' embarrassing.

I'm officially ignoring this post. I have not read a single word, nor do I care that Uncle Bill is peaking. :3oops:

If you think our citizens need them perhaps you should explain why we do...
are you afraid of your own government? are you paranoid? are you a conspiracy nut? if so, all the more reason to disarm you personally....
we should never let the stupid be better armed than the average policeman.

You are a fascist pig.

This country was founded by people who feared their government. All intelligent and reasonable people should fear large, centralized power structures. How many genocides, massacres, and wars can be directly attributed to centralized government authorities?

No, we're not the problem. It's you sappy, naive government-loving goons who are the problem. Silly conformists who think being distrustful of government is somehow paranoid or strange.

Me, government loving? AND a fascist at the same time? Do you have any idea how that sounds?
This country was formed by people who feared England, and then formed their own government, one that has centralized power. You fear that? Where else you gonna go?
And yes, we committed genocide against the native americans, so I suppose you want to arm them and have them take back their country? As for wars, which ones did the USA start that we shouldn't have, omitting the ones started by the Bush clan....
Religion has probably started more wars than governments....especially considering that prior to 1776, religion and government was one and the same in a lot of Europe...

As for wars, which ones did the USA start that we shouldn't have, omitting the ones started by the Bush clan....
Kosovo. Vietnam. WW2. Spanish-American. Mexican.

Considering your desire to forcibly disarm "stupid" people who fear the government? Poignantly accurate.

This country was formed by people who feared England, and then formed their own government, one that has centralized power.

A small centralized power that was checked and balanced by state governments and Constitutional law. That is no longer the case.

You fear that? Where else you gonna go?

No where. I'll stand my ground and die for my principles, but that probably makes me an extremist in your mind.

And yes, we committed genocide against the native americans, so I suppose you want to arm them and have them take back their country? As for wars, which ones did the USA start that we shouldn't have, omitting the ones started by the Bush clan....

I'm not talking specifically about the American government. I'm speaking to the general tendency for powerful, centralized authorities to repress and kill people. But that could NEVER happen in America, right? We're special...

Religion has probably started more wars than governments....especially considering that prior to 1776, religion and government was one and the same in a lot of Europe...

Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol-Pot. No religion there.

Kosovo. Vietnam. WW2. Spanish-American. Mexican.

agree with you for some of them....especially the last 2...I believe the others were already going fast and furious before we got involved....

not sure how it relates to some citizens of the USA being afraid of its own government, tho...

Beats me... YOU brought up the idea of the USA starting wars...

I have 33 nephews and nieces, which one are you?:2razz:

Not afraid, but I definitely don't blindly trust it like you.

Well, OK... but that the US government hasnt started as many gnocides or wars as some other governments doesnt mean that it can not or will not.

No one in the Germany of 1913 could have predicted the Germany of 1933.
No one in the US of 2009 can predict the US of 2029.

I give up....
usually a libertarian comes out with SOME intellect, but you cannot ....guess they are desperate and are taking anyone who can breathe...

You can't even find the posts you say I made about goshin, guns and liberalisms.

Still waiting on that, until you do, you are just lying...

There were some, even our president, who thought that the harsh conditions of 1913 might lead to future problems.
As for the USA, there are so many weapons already in the hands of our citizens that I think it very unlikely that the govt can get them all back.
And our military isn't as likely to go along with firing on its own citizens. They would be more likely to shoot their own officers...

Eh. We have the right to bear arms, not the right to use any weapon we please. You want psychopaths to get a hold of nuclear weapons?

good job.

Whenever I think about switchblade knives, I never imagine the chain of connection to the hydrogen bomb.

After they outlaw the knives, they're going after the pointy stick people.

man, just yesterday my 6 year old grandson made a bow and arrow out of willow branches and yarn, and first thing he did was shoot his older sister in the chin....
and no, we didn't confiscate his weapons, but he did have to apologize and promise to be more careful where he pointed it...

Germany was peaceful and prosperous in 1913.
The point is that no one saw the things that would lead to the conditions that allowed the creation of Germany of 1933 -- that is, lots of things can happen to completely change the eco-social-political lanscape, making possible things that no one could dream of.

And so, the fact that the US government hasn't done X doesnt mean that it will never do X.

As for the USA, there are so many weapons already in the hands of our citizens that I think it very unlikely that the govt can get them all back.

I can agree with that.
