I'm not saying that it wasn't motivated by money, it very well may have been. But this kid did not grow up poor. His father was a Beverly Hills dentist, at worst he grew up middle-class.

What I'm saying is that comment is fairly strong evidence to suggest that the "statement" is actually a hoax.

The fact that no legit source has picked up the story, and that it is primarily fodder for the blogosphere is also a good indicator of it being a hoax.

Oh puh-lease. I'm so sick of the whining about Michael's childhood. It's an insult to kids who went through real hell. I agree his dad is a scumbag, and I don;t doubt things were difficult for MJ as a kid. But there are thousands upon thousands of kids who went through a lot worse ie: no food, cracked out moms, step fathers who molested them, famine in their native countries, losing all family members to war and/or oppressive gov'ts, kids who lost parents and siblings to cancer ... etc, and you don't see those people growing up to mutilate their faces, buying offspring, screwing creditors out of 400 million dollars, diddling young boys (what about the childhood he cost them?), making up fake names for perscription drugs, hiring drs to anesthesize (sp?) them so they can sleep better all the while screwing over their own kids of a decent childhood.

BTW that dentist was a dentist to the stars, so he had an extremely lucrative practice. He lost everything once he brought charges against Michael Jackson. Rabid fans harrassed his patients constantly. He lost it all. Now I'm starting to understand the payoff acceptance a little better.

How do you feel about MJ not wanting to be black? I would think that would offend AAs more than anything.

I've not seen this happen very often. The 50/50 is usually a mixture. That probably goes for whites and whites, blacks and blacks etc. etc. Most stuff won't go back more than like a generation or two from what I've been told, either, so if you have negro in you, but look white, you're kids will be white if you procreate with a white person. This is what I've read, could be wrong.

I was just saying the odds of him having three pretty much white kids is highly unlikely.

I was watching how he was feeding his baby the bottle with the scarf over it's head while being filmed, and that kid was being tortured. Michael was acting as fruity as ever and the poor kid was squirming to beat the band. That isn't love for a child. He probably didn't know what love was. He's not the only person this has ever happened to. He probably knew love, but didn't really know how to show it back because he was just a child when he got so famous, it probably destroyed his emotional balance.

I believe Gene Simmons.

Thing is why would the real father let that happen to those kids? And if they are the plastic surgeon's, what kind of surgeon ruins a man's face like that, and doesn't say," no,more"?

Got a link to that dentist to the lucrative stars bit? And sorry to say, I don't trust the link you provided regarding Quincy Jones. He would never say such a thing about Michael....

Michael went through a lot of **** and he may have been more sensitive than others. If he went through the scenarios you gave, he would have died a long time ago, IMO.

I'm not going to weigh in on the whole sordid saga that was Michael Jackson's life, and the problems he's supposed to have had with his family. Suffice it to say that there is enough family drama there to keep Lifetime TV in business for many years to come.

In the past few days I've been watching old videos and remembering Michael Jackson as the consummate performer that he was. I remember back in the winter of 1982-83 when the Thriller album (that's right - album!) was released, and Michael Jackson ruled MTV with videos for "Beat It", "Billie Jean", and the aforementioned "Thriller" - which was such a groundbreaking video that MTV played it twice an hour because the demand to see it was so high.

That's how I'll always remember Michael Jackson -- not as the MJ of the sexual-abuse lawsuits, not as the MJ of tabloid media, but as Michael Jackson - The King of Pop.

He may be gone, but his music will live forever...
 
When the ridiculous hysteria over this pedophile is over will be when it is proven that he was also a drug addict and headlines to that effect will be coming in the next few days. Reports of tracks on his arms came out today.
And as I said before some idiots will excuse this drug abuse as needed because of some phantom illness that was never there.
I understand parents of little boys are still calibrating.

Hank Willams died of rt. ventrical dilation as stated in the death certificate. This too was drug/alcohol-Related, being good at something does not excuse drug and alcohol abuse in anyone. And if people would not just say poor, poor so and so every time some otherwise talented person dies from abuse it might save a life or two, A little more stigma might do less harm and some good.
I don't hate any of these people who clearly had heelp fron so called friends that aided in their deaths or igored their problems to death.
I hate the sin not the sinner. Forgiveness's fine just never condone or forget talent or no talent.

Pedophilia is hardly a fault to be forgiven. If it weren't for his wealth and fame, Jackson would've been in prison.

Most of us would love a lot of the **** he went through, especially the money part. He got famous and it went to his head then he became a child-molesting pedophile. If he hadn't still had a wad of cash he would have been a bum on the streets.
