Now playing 'The way you make me feel'
well he did get a fine tribute on the Stern show where they chopped all his audio book readings to state how much he spent on lil boys to suck his penis, and a thousand other skits done over the yearsPoor Ed McMahon gets totally lost in the shuffle.
I am sorry, but while i despise MJ for what he was accused of, and I believe he did, He was a mega star that influenced probably every singer that has come on the scene in the last 20 years (except that country **** ) He broke and made so many records, and literally mad middle america think what a talented young boy he was, instead of look at that talented nigger boy who sure can sing. He did a hell of alot, but his ****ed up life, apparently his drug addiction led to his demise, figuratively and literally. If he did nothing else after Thriller, he would have still been a huge impact, not only on America but teh Entire world. Just look at how many people with blind devotion to him dismiss any of the accusations. His is a tragic tale that will spawn 100's of documentary's and other films to fill in all the blanks left behindIt's sad that he died. but let's be honest, the interest in him and the fame he has had, for a looooong time, has not been propelled by music or dancing.
Where is my farrah coverage????????????
you need to re-read what I actually wrote. for a decade or more he's been primarily been famous for failed plastic surgery, court cases, the elephant mans' bones, etc.I am sorry, but while i despise MJ for what he was accused of, and I believe he did, He was a mega star that influenced probably every singer that has come on the scene in the last 20 years (except that country **** )
My first memory of hearing music EVER is from when I was four, my mum hoovering while "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" was on the record player...

i like his singing (in the early 80's) as much as anybody.
I am so very sad and just am not sure what to do with myself
Iranians are being brutally repressed and even killed this very moment and you're all broken up over....Michael Jackson...
He was talented as all heck but let's not lose our damn minds...priorities people!

Racist things are being said and now is not the time. Respect him, his children and his family.
Don't be so quick to mourn for him, he'll be back soon enough with his army of dancing zombies.
Why should we make Iran our priority?
All they would do anyways is use us for help and then turn against us like every other damned Islamic country in that cursed hell hole of the middle east.
Didn't he set it up to be cryogenicaly frozen after death so he can be thawed out and brought back to life when the technology is complete for that procedure? His monkey too?

Over Michael Jackson? I dunno, you tell me.
Whoa, I think there's some kind of miscommunication.
I'm not talking about policy -- just American priorities and perception. There's a god damned revolution in Iran right now and all we hear from the media is stories about MJ.
-Just saw that. I don't like to speak ill of the dead/dying, but I have no sympathy for the alleged child molester.
At least he is under some form of arrest.

Normally I would be the first one to laugh at a Michael Jackson joke, and I admit that is a good one. But I think we should respect the dead, even if they are an easy target for jokes.
I don't believe he ever molested any kids..all the claims of such including the 2005 case came form people who where obviously plotting to get money.
His example in that is one of the more pronounced reasons why I think it should be illegal to announce a person has been charged with x...it should only be made public after a person has been found guilty...especially in murder, molestation, rape, and such cases.
Would be a hell of a pita to implement but it would be better then the current guilty in the media until proven innocent and then still guilty to many because they spent 8 weeks damning you for whatever and 5 minutes saying ooops we where wrong.
