NEW YORK (Reuters) - Laid off from Wall Street? The CIA wants you -- as long as you can pass a lie detector test and show that you are motivated by service to your country rather than your wallet.

The Central Intelligence Agency has been advertising for recruits and will be holding interviews on June 22 at a secret location in New York.

"Economics, finance and business professionals, if the quest for the bottom line is just not enough for you, the Central Intelligence Agency has a mission like no other," one radio advertisement for the agency says.

So what qualities does one need to have to join the CIA?

1) Sneaky. That's a good start. The banksters had a lot of practice, sneakily transferring money from the general public to themselves and their friends.

2) Able to lie to an enemy with a straight face. The banksters have had a lot of practice with that too. And if they were able to lie so well to their own countrymen, lying to an enemy will be so much easier to do.

3) And the main qualification? Able to do untold damage to an enemy nation. Look what they did to America, then imagine turning them loose on Russia, China, or any other opponent.

No wonder the CIA wants the banksters on their payroll. Each one of them is a one-man wrecking crew with no morals. Our enemies will now have much to fear.

Interesting. Either the CIA is interested in embezzling and money laundering, or maybe they're trying to track financial things for peoples they don't like.

I work in banking. But, alas, the CIA does not pay enough.

Indeed. I tend to be pro due process and human rights. They hate that stuff.

You are either one of them, or you are a perp....
that is a form of paranoia that takes over the minds of many law enforcement types. Many lose perspective in a short time after getting the badge...

You should be thankful to each and every person who protects your asses and gives you the right to speak as you see fit about them. Many could be making lots of money but they choose to serve our great Nation.

I am thankful, but I am not so stupid that I turn a blind eye to the corrupt among them....

I am very thankful UtahBill spent 22.5 years protecting my ass.

Indeed. So I'm a perp. Whatever. But I know I haven't tortured anyone or sent them to secret prisons without due process. If that makes me the bad guy, cool.

to be clear, I am not calling you a bad guy...
I am saying that some of our "protectors" are worse than the crooks they pursue....

I didn't think you were calling me a bad guy. They might. And hell yes many of them are far worse than the crooks they pursue.

You'd be surprised. My dad works in the CIA and from what I hear the makeup is VERY liberal, anti-Bush and all that.

No offense, but if you are not anti-Bush something is seriously wrong upstairs.

Thanks for telling me. The upstairs toilet overflowed, and thanks to you, I caught it in time before any damage was done.

Drug Use
To be considered suitable for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last 12 months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to 12 months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.

That excludes every banker I've ever met.
