Sounds like it is time to declare Operation Rescue a terrorist organization.
I would say, and I'm sure law enforcement is also saying the same thing, it is time for Operation Rescue to go under scrutiny.
I won't say right now for sure they are a domestic terrorist organization, but they definitely deserved to be watched by law enforcement.
"I know there are many other similar events planned around the country as long as abortion remains legal," Roeder said."
It sounds like it's time to dust off the old waterboard..

To preserve the woman's sainted right to choose to terminate a human life?I wonder how many leftists would support waterboarding this guy if it meant stopping a few clinic bombings or shootings.
I was trying for a reasonable, measured response. In my heart, after the reaction of far too many anti abortion types, they could round up the whole bunch and ship them to Gitmo and I would have to work up to caring.

Well, raw emotion can do that to you. However, honestly take a look at the MAJORITY of the Pro-life people and you will see that they don't condone the actions of violence.
There may be certain elements of Operation Rescue that do, and that is why I think they should be watched closely by law enforcement, but I don't think it is a majority of them.

Fact is that under American law and under international treaties waterboarding is infact torture.
Can't change fact...now all we have to do is bring the criminals to justice so we can learn and move on from this stain on our country.

I do however, have a hunch that there are a minority in leadership positions of Operation Rescue that may be radical, but this is no different than minorities in Muslim groups that are also radical.
We have to be careful in Denouncing the entire organization for minority radicals in it.
I don't doubt there are a SMALL MINORITY of radicals within the group of Operation Rescue, but that doesn't mean the whole organization is at fault by default. See what I mean?

Considering the author, I had to read this post twice to be sure, before 'thanking' it
Now I don't know about your own personal views but I find the responses by many liberal, pro-legal abortionist quite ironic going on their views towards Islamic terrorism. Views I often share.I was trying for a reasonable, measured response. Again although Tiller should not have been murdered I do find him and his late-term abortions a very strange place for pro-legal abortionists to take their stand.
Indeed, although that doesn't mean he wasn't a monster(I'm not saying he was, just he could have been.).Interestingly, I am not taking a stand about Tiller. About the closest to a stand is to say that if you don't like what some one is legally doing, then change the laws.
Me neither, although I think one should be careful about inflating the word terrorist. Everyone's a terrorist these days in some quarters. The pure out terrorism against people doing their legally allowed work is something I do not like.

Oh?
So you support torturing Roeder because of a threat to abortion clinics, but when national security is at issue it is a stain on the country.
Lovely double standard there.
No doubt a few in the extreme wing could be classed as terrorists but I'm reluctant to use that term for them as I was for the pirates. I don't much like the war on terror mentality and just feel it inadvisable. This is separate to this particular topic.Read a bit more on what all has been done. Buildings bombed, people killed, assaults, intimidation, harassment, threats. I don't think that is inflating the term. What would you call a group of people who use terror and intimidation to advance a political agenda?
No did I say that?
