Actor David Carradine found dead in Bangkok

The family has called in the FBI to investigate. Something is not right about this whole thing:(
 
Guess supposedly a Thai paper has published a picture of Carradine with his hands tied above his head.

Prolly fake for all I know. Unless he had his hair dyed for the movie and that is Bangcock's version of a high class hotel.
 
I heard that his hands were bound as well, which implies that someone else was there. My guess is that it is sex related and was an accident. He probably hired a prostitute and died while engaging in auto-erotic asphyxiation and the prostitute freaked out and left. Regardless, I don't think foul play is involved at all.

Apparently, the family believes it to be real:

LOS ANGELES – David Carradine's family members, dissatisfied with Thai investigators and "profoundly disturbed" by the publication of a forensics photo in a Bangkok tabloid, are seeking help from the FBI and an independent pathologist and have threatened legal action against any media outlet that reprints images of the actor in death.

A grainy photo published on the Saturday cover of the tabloid Thai Rath shows a naked body suspended from a clothes bar in a hotel closet, hands apparently bound together above the head and feet on the floor. The face is blacked out and other areas are obscured.

The paper did not indicate the source of the image, but Thai police said they believed it was a picture of Carradine's body taken by a forensics team.

Keith Carradine said in a statement that the family was "profoundly disturbed by the release in Thailand of photographs taken at the scene of David Carradine's death," and threatened legal action against further distribution.

Hmm, well if his "hands were bound", then he almost certainly did not do this himself, although he may have been enabled by a partner. I think the court document is important, even though suspect coming from a disgruntled wife, because it does suggest a history of unusual sexual behavior.

I guess he picked up one too many secret tricks at his stay at the Shaolin monastery.

I have no knowledge that gives me an angle. But, I think anyone with common sense can realize there is an equal probable chance that a high profile person like him could have been robbed by a smart person that wrapped a cord around his genitals.

Although if would rather it be he was crazy and bad assed enough to go out in a hardcore sex act. I think it will make more people watch him after they take their rape showers and remember his acting.

The robbing scenario definitely could be possible, but Carradine really seems like the type of guy who is into hardcore sex stuff like that. Earlier I said it would be an embarrassing way to die, but it really isn't that embarrassing if it's some hardcore perverse sexual act. When you think about it, it kind of makes the man look way more intense. Like the only way he could get off was to do auto-erotic asphyxiation while being bound and having a cord around his penis. That's just messed up.
 
Thing is, he's going to remembered for this as much as for anything he accomplished.... and that's a shame. What an embarassing way to be remembered.

According to the owner of Susie's Delights in Tarzana, CA, Carradine was a regular in the store -- shopping there a few times a month for years. The owner tells us Carradine owned almost every piece of bondage equipment in the store.

The order Carradine placed three weeks ago included women's lingerie, stockings, a few pieces of bondage equipment and three bondage DVDs. Some of the items were on back order and Carradine was supposed to come back and pick them up a few weeks later. He never did.
