Majority of Americans favor Sotomayor confirmation

Then it's not a democracy.

The United States government and its election process was never supposed to be a democracy.

But one is still voting themselves money. One could vote for a candidate that would enact credits for things one is going to do. That would be voting themselves money.

Like I said allowing one to keep their own money is not a benefit and when one votes themselves so many credits that they no longer pay taxes they no longer vote.

How is someone utilizing the child credit living outside their means? A lot of benefits are quite small in comparison to one's means.

Living outside their means was one example but there are more.

Why should government reward a person who will use more services with less taxes?

I don't know about that. The interests of that group may not be for the good of the country.

The government is not supposed to be tailored to a specific groups interests.
Creating a system where no one is favored is the best system.

Among a few others things as stated by Keynes (which include the two you gave).

Keynes economic theory has a huge tragic flaw.
It requires men to be angles to work.

Perhaps, but wouldn't getting money out of the election system fix this problem rather then your radical change?

That is an impossibility, if you have elections paid for by government it will still be tilted heavily in favor of those who already control it.

It still continues the illusion of free and fair.

At the moment the privilege of voting is worthless. It is given away freely and people treat as such.

I always hear how the average voter doesn't know squat but when you try to contain ignorance its wrong. Why should we let an uninterested, easily duped voter base move this country in a horrible direction?
