A drive by shooting today at a Little Rock Arkansas recruiting station resulted in the death of one soilder and the wounding of another. The shooter Abdulhakim Margahid Muhammad opened fire on the soldiers as they stood out front. He was specifically targeting military personnel. Police stoped the man after a brief chase. They found 3 weapons in his vehicle then searched his apartment and removed evidence related to the murder.

Do not expect to see this story in the mainstream media. If you do it wont last more than a few days and then it will be dropped unlike the story of the child killer Dr George Tiller which will remain in the news for months. Kept alive by the pro-choice media. Meanwhile this story will be buried asap.Its a sickening twisted backwards time we live in.

Thoughts and prayers to the soldiers and there families.

This is sad. Too bad it had to happen, and I hope that the shooter is prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Also sad is using this sad event to push a anti-abortion rights agenda.

Youv'e got it all wrong. Its sad because some girl goes missing in Aruba, or a story like Dr Tillers will remain in the news for months or years and a story like this will not even make the mainstream media. The media is biasd, admit it. Fox will report this story but it will be a blip on the rest of the liberal media outlets.

The media is biased towards selling papers or drawing ratings. Controversy does that. It's not the medias fault. If we showed more interest in stories like you linked, they would get more coverage,

How are you going to show interest in a story that you never read because it didn't get reported by the socialist media that only reports what they want you to know. Soon the governmet will own the media, oh wait, they already do.

I wouldn't say it was quite that simple. The media themselves do help to create that culture, it is a sort of loop of sensationalism.

Only newspapers, and that is largely that they are responding slowly to the changing marketplace I believe.

Yeah and a month ago I won't remember who George Tiller was either. You're complaining about some stories being bigger then others and the media covering them accordingly. A recruiter being killed in nowheresville Arkansas is pretty much a non-story for most people because A) he's a complete unknown and B) because there is only so much information you can milk out of such a story.

Thats complete BS, Natalee Holloway, Caylee Anthony, Stacy Peterson, and JonBentet Ramsey were all complete unknowns. And Im sure there is a plot and this guy could lead to a terrorist network. But nooooo, we can't have the media beating the drum in this case. Its politically incorrect. It might offend someone.

One for four? You can't be serious. All four of those cases were in the news almost everyday for years. Do you pay attention to the news at all?

And, I suppose, technically, that is a true statement.

Seriously, I've seen pretty much equal coverage on this on just about every newschannel so far.

But one thing is true no matter how you shake it. A missing girl in Aruba, or Michael Jackson boning a pre-teen, or Anna Nicole's dopey drama will occupy our screen 20o time longer than a story like this one. And that holds true for all the channels. Including FOX.

I agree, he needs to be made an example of. Problem is he converted to Islam in prison where he was convinced to join the jihad. Much like the four guys in New York busted recently. It wouldn't make much sense to send him to prison where he can recruit more jihadist. Thats why we need to either execute him or build a prison for people like him. Oh, wait we already have a place. Its called Guantanamo Bay Cuba.
 
You guys are too kind. I got some pretty good ideas on what we should do to this guy. Don't think I'd score any points posting them here though.

Thats why the FBI is involved, to find out if he really acted alone. But we will never know because the media will drop this story asap.

I think this guy should just "disappear," never to be heard of or seen again. Then drop the story. No questions. No lies. Just gone. Period.

I don't agree with death penalty so no thanks.
Nor Guantanmo Bay, he murdered yes. But do we send every murderer to Guantanmo bay? No. We put them in jail.

Why are people getting religious scripture in jails? Ban all religious items?? Stop Imams going in?
