Converted went to Somalia/Yemen comes back on mission(whether real or in his mind) to kill US soldiers... kills one wounds another inside the USA.

Recruiter Shooting Suspect Under FBI Investigation - ABC News

Lil more then homegrown there.

Coverage?..Obama had a speech...:2wave:

I guess it is obvious the media feels that murdering our servicemen is not as BIG of a deal as murdering a late term abortionist and that it is obviously much worse to be part of a Militia than it is to be a terrorist.

Well, if the abortionist is a known controversial figure then it will make more headlines. I don't think that implies that anyone necessarily views one as being more important than the other, though. Our servicemen and women get killed overseas all the time. We'll hear about some no-talent Hollywood loser dying before we hear about those people. Is it fair? Absolutely, not. But when has the media ever been fair? Their priority is ratings.

The issue here is not about fairness but about the blatant efforts of the media to side with abortionists and paint the people who kill them as RIGHT wing extremists (Republicans), yet downplay the obvious terror affiliations in the attack in Arkansas.

The media MAKES its own ratings by elevating this story beyond what it really was; a nut who obviously needed serious psychological care versus a converted black Muslim who trained with terrorists and came back to murder our citizens; that could have been a MUCH bigger story if you are looking for ratings. But it doesn't fit the current MO of Liberals and a Liberal press who seek to downplay the word "terrorism" at every opportunity.

Much like the moronic reporting of the Air France disaster where every idiotic possibility is explored, even the pitot tubes story, but we don't dare mention the more plausible possibility of a bomb or terrorist attack.

The Governments of France and the US appear to go out of their way to avoid any mention as does the "Government" run media in this country. Why do you suppose that is? The pitot tube story is the most asinine explanation I have heard to date.

One would think that if 2 Iraqi people being blown up could garner a front page article, one very young PFC in our own country could have more coverage.

Well, typically pro-life extremists have right wing views. I don't think that means that right wingers are wrong or bad in some way. Regardless, if incident in Arkansas somehow led to a really large scale thing I'm sure it would start making headlines. However, in the incident thus far two people got shot and one died.

What a surprise that people on the right think that there is some liberal media conspiracy. What's funny is that people on the left think the exact same thing only opposite. I have a hard time believing people on either side of the political spectrum because they all have their own agendas.

From all of the stories I've read there was no indication of a bomb or terrorist attack. I'm sure they would if it were a plausible theory. There are people who are investigating it who are far more skilled and savvy than you or I.

Well, we both have a very limited amount of information about this story. Obviously the people investigating it have more. I think that we should probably trust their expertise rather than making absurd assertions based on very limited information. However, if you want to think that there is some kind of global conspiracy going on to protect terrorists then you are more than welcome.

From all I've seen of TDs rantings, I think it's safe to say that he sees conspiracies in everything that makes his political affiliation look stupid.

And there's a LOT of stuff that makes his political affiliation look stupid. :rofl
