My spouse has been to graduate school and worked with too many Asians to count and many of them adopt "American" (or at least Western) names voluntarily because it's just easier. I guess they're racists, too.

Many adopt Western FIRST names, but retain their Asian surnames.

Actually, we're all immigrants, even the "native americans" migrated here.

....I don't know about you guys in Florida. But calling my family a tribe and my little piece of America a reserve won't absolve me from state income taxes. Even if I'm an 'immigrant'.
