PETA takes anti-circus effort to kids

It's a public sidewalk, First Amendment rules.

If my kid brought one of those home...she'd probably be asking to go to the circus.

I see lots of opportunity to backfire for PETA here.

Parents have a liberty interest with their children that over rules freedom of speech in that regard.

The school has the children as a captive audience and the children have to go by this person.

Jall, is that your story? I know you're gay, but that doesn't mean you didn't have a child with a woman at some point.

Yeah, it's my story through and through. I have a son who has two mommies who got friendly with my sperm and a turkey baster. ;)

I ask because that's an extremely disgusting thing to do to a kid. I hope whoever's story this is really did teach them a lesson. It's infuriating. I'd have slammed the unhappy box upside their stinky, hippie heads.

I think what brought the cop out was her slamming their stinky, hippie heads against the parking lot. I laugh when I think about it now but at the time I was really mad that she did that in front of my boy.

Second, one thing that bugs me (though much less than the anger I have for those sick PETA morons), is that people should never allow strangers to give their kids gifts. Never. We pound it into their heads never to accept gifts from strangers, so we should never accept any on their behalf. I've had people offer things to my kid right in front of me, and I put my hand right in front of them and say, "No thank you. He does not accept anything from strangers." They look at me like this ~~!> but I don't give a hoot. It's a lesson that could save my kid's life someday.

Back to the topic .... :3oops:

In her defense, they were in the parking lot of the McDonald's, wearing those visor caps that McDonald's employees wear and handing out free gifts in McDonald's Happy Meal boxes. I can't say I would have been terribly suspicious that he would open the box and find a bloody chicken inside.

I am so happy to learn that you have a son! :2razz: I bet he's adorable.

I can understand why the moms would think it was an employee. That's even more disgusting. If nothing else, I s'pose it reinforces to your boy never to accept something from someone he doesn't know. Horrible lesson, though. :( I hope that jerks rot in he**.
