A Nazi sympathizer gets into a fight with his wife. His wife shoots and kills him. The police arrive, and guess what they find? Parts to put together a radioactive dirty bomb, along with bottles containing uranium-238 and thorium-232. Moreover, he had been purchasing the radioactive material for his bomb from an AMERICAN company. He began his purchases right after Barack Obama was elected president. Manuals detailing how to construct dirty bombs were also found at his home. This man essentially was a wealthy Timothy McVeigh. This story has seen very little coverage by the mainstream media. A few years ago, in East Texas, some KKK members were busted with a chemical weapon, which had been completed. That was hardly reported at all by the mainstream media either.

Now we can question all day Iran's intentions, and arguments can be made on both sides until hell freezes over, but this guy was one of our own, and was not only planning a terrorist act with nuclear materials, but was well underway to making it happen. If not for a pissed off wife who killed him, we might very well be seeing the results of his planning on the news channels.

America has its jihadists too. They just call themselves by a different name, but they are the same thing. While our leaders are telling us about the dangers of another 911 from overseas, they had better pay attention to what's in our own back yard. The greater danger, at this time, lies within our own borders.

Article is here.

The decline of the economy can only produce a rise in extremism and the blame-game. We have to dispel the myths of Obama being the end of America, we need to start concluding a direct path of blame to any particular persons. This is ridiculous WWII Germany games. We love to blame before we fix.

It is always the other guys fault.

Without a doubt. I was just living my life as I should... its the damn jooish government and their damn incompetence and the damn impoverished.

I see Elementary school children blaming James for picking his butt more effective than what's going on for the economy.

Here they are called "conservatives".

Over the past couple of days I've been seeing ridiculous comments, but I think this easily makes the top 5.

Extremists are extremists. They are not conservatives. You can paint them with any perspective color you want to, but the foundation is extremism. Don't try to complicate the issue anymore.

Cool side photo.

But uh, that's not exactly what would have happened had he succeeded.

Haha. Ye know, just fear mongering.

Meh, if I was fear mongering I'd be much better at it. I would have gone all the way and attached a clip of the nuke scene from The Day After.

In the report, an unnamed source noted, "state authorities detected radiation emissions in four small jars in the residence labeled 'uranium metal', as well as one jar labeled 'thorium.' "

I think this kind of speaks for itself.

1) Before we get all frantic about how this guy was going to nuke manhattan, why don't we actually get some details on the amount of this supposedly radioactive material he had.

I'd be astonished if this "dirty bomb" was capable of doing much more than it would without the radioactive material.

Please tell me you don't actually believe this. This is such a ridiculous statement that I don't even know where to begin. It's like seeing an earthworm fart and then claiming that the greater danger to our environment lies within our bait tanks.

There is a militant faction to the right wing, remember McVeigh?

Of course, just like there's a "militant faction" to every political ideology. See, ELF, Malcolm X, etc.

The point is that it's absolutely asinine to say that "the greater danger, at this time, lies within our own borders" because one dude in Maine talked a lot of **** while beating his wife and supposedly mixed some chemicals in his sink.

Nazi douchebag<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Al Qaida/North Korea/Hamas/etc.

The militant right wing in recent history has achieved destructive goals. I am actually worried about them

You think that the one dude blowing up one building in Oklahoma 13 years ago is on par with the other things I mentioned?

Trust fund millionaire James G. Cummings, an American Nazi sympathizer from Maine who was slain by his wife Amber in December, allegedly had the radioactive components necessary to construct a "dirty bomb," a newly released threat analysis report states.

A Nazi Trustifarian with too much time on his hands.

Is amber under arrest or getting the presidential medal of freedom?

I believe having five radio active exit signs along with a computer with the words "dirty bomb" cover the definition of media license to say one has "materials for a dirty bomb".

You didn't mention anything else:confused:

I can also come up with many militant right wing actions. Neal Horsely actually promoted bombing abortion clinics, Randy Weaver, Branch Dravidian's preparing for the apocalypse.

Will, please stop with these kind of hyper partisan one liners. They aren't that funny and just encourage reciprocity from the other side. As a Democrat, and slightly liberal, I can tell you I do not share your sentiment. All this does is breed unnecessary partisan rancor. Of which there is already an abundance of the cancerous stuff.

Then anxiety medication is probably in order for you.

I'm not to worried about the Log Cabin Republicans. They are more worried about their Macy's credit limit:2razz:

And I know people who believe in direct anti-war actions and have advocated for violence as well (even at our beloved alma mater). Doesn't make them worse than Bin Laden.
