The Departments of Buildings and Transportation revoked the permits for crane work by Tishman Speyer at the World Trade Center site, involving construction at tower 4. It follows an incident this past Thursday when a sub-contractor hired by Tishman moved another crane boom onto the site over traffic and pedestrians.

This boom weighs close to 50,000 pounds and should not have been moved unless traffic was stopped.

WOR News has obtained a photo of the incident and it is posted on our website. You can clearly see the boom hovering above buses cars and pedestrians.
