OKC officer pulls man over for anti-Obama sign on vehicle

If McCain was President and the guy with the sign was black, there's no doubt in my mind that the race of the police officer, if white, would have been reported.

And if I had wheels I'd be a bike. But since we can't prove either one 100% ow about we ignore you.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

The cops admitted it was wrong and gave the guy his sign back. Case closed. We are people therefore we make mistakes. (well, liberals do anyway)

I want to know the whole story. Again, if Mickey had won, the guy with the sign (that said "abort McCain") was black and the officer was white then we'd know, wouldn't we? The officer would be labeled a racist and prosecuted for a hate crime. The city would be sued for umpteen-million bucks.

What hate crime?

I'm sorry, but what does race have to do with this? There's nothing in the story to even remotely indicate that it has anything to do with this story.

Race may have nothing to do with it. But then again, it might, for reasons previously stated. *shrug*

But you have absolutely no reason to bring it into the story as there was nothing mentioned in the article. It's purely assumption on your part.

The only thing that I am assuming is that if the guy was black and the officer was white then the story would be quite different.

Even if that was the case it doesn't necessarily mean anything. Once again, you are assuming far more than you should be.

Actually, it means that the press has a double standard, which should be obvious to anyone.

Because they didn't mention something that has nothing to do with the story that you are assuming did even though you have nothing to back it up?

It would make it a hate crime. The reason I ask is that I've noticed that blacks disproportionately get all emotional over this Obama thing, and this was obviously an emotional, illogical response by the cop.

Oh come on

We all know there are no black people in the Yadkins! There's barely any black people here at a grade-A football school.

When does a question require back up information? Oh yeah, when you don't like the possible answer. :doh

It's a question about something that has absolutely nothing to do with the story. It's an assumption on your part with absolutely no basis. I asked you for the reasons of why you are making such an assumption and you have failed to answer it. End of story.

Once, when I doing FoH work (running sound) at a big festival in my neck of the woods, there was a car parked in a space reserved for performers that had a Kerry sticker on it. The stage manager had it towed because of the sticker. Turns out, it belonged to the drummer of the headlining band. :rofl
