Obama creates faith-based office with wide mission

Obama creates faith-based office with wide mission - Boston.com

Do you know what Mr president Obama? I really won't care if religious people prefer to hire individuals who share their same faith as long as if doing so it will facilitate their approaches helping others.

But, I strongly think that the tax dollars must go to help religious groups and the needed who are US citizens or legal residents in US only.

So, I think that every religious group that is receiving government funds must sign in a contract stipulating that they won't use the tax money to help illegal immigrants.

And the simple reason for my concern is that the tax money must go only to the ones who rightly deserve it, and that people who belong to other countries must apply for help to their correspondent embassies and consulates because such is the responsibility of those countries.

Using your own words Mr president Obama, this is not a game, and you must be sure that no corruption of any kind may be approved by you, because helping the illegal immigrants is to promote their continued wrong doing.

Of course, religious groups not receiving government help can help to whoever they want as long as the private donates allow them to do so, but this can't happen by any reason with the religious groups using the tax payers money
What about separation of church and state?

Is it a Muslim faith based program? :2razz:

What about separation of church and state?

That is the best point of any discussion, and in this case the mistake of Obama is to push the government to make that "separation", this is to say, between the secular community centers for help and the religious denominations doing community work. Both of those should work together as one, because there is no argument that these groups do help the community, the argument is that they do not report how the government funds are distributed...the same condition of the current banks which received the bailout money.

For me is stupid to create such an office giving preference to one group over another.
